Go to your App Store (Play Store if you have an Android) and search for "My Driver Direct Pre Book" (5 words.... make sure you have a SPACE between each word).... and follow the prompts. Select "Cliff York" as your driver. Enter your own personal User Settings, and click on "Update Settings" Now you are ready to make your next and all future bookings in seconds. The new MDD Mobile App automatically sends me an SMS to instantly notify me of your request.... AND automatically locks you into the MDD Transfer platform at the same time. (You can use the app to gain a quote before you are finally locked in... just create that note in the notes section). I reply with an explanation that a friend of mine in advertising pointed out to me long ago that many smart businesses name their enterprises after an animal or a bird (think Meerkat... and do you remember the original Optus ads?) As I am often transferring folk to the airport where they fly away on a Big Winged Bird, (and an Albatross is a big winged bird), Albatross seemed to me to be an obvious choice of name....... especially when the same "Big Winged Bird" brings them safely back to the airport some time later. 09.01.2022 Pull up a chair.... get comfortable.... and allow me to share a story with you. In Oct 2014 I made the decision to terminate my love affair with long distance interstate trucking and took up short distance transport instead. Over the years, my business has morphed into an airport transfer business.... (mainly)... though Albatross Transfers also does Wedding Transfers, Zoo Transfers, Restaurant Transfers, Woodfordia Transfers, Cruise Ship Transfers, Music Festival Transfers....... in fact..... we can transfer anything from passengers to luggage and freight! No job is too small.... or too big.... as we can organise transfers using premium cars, wedding cars, right though to large coaches. But I promised you a story. Just recently, I was fast asleep at 2.30am when I thought I heard a notification come through that I had received an SMS message. Sure enough, one of my fellow drivers (who also lives at nearby) had gotten up early, and had checked the incoming flights to find that the early morning flight coming in from LAX was arriving nearly an hour early.... re-scheduled to land in BNE at 4.10am!!! Problem! I had asked my fellow driver the evening before to also collect a new client from a neighbouring suburb at 5 am to take to the airport.... which would have worked, had the LAX plane been on time, as he would have delivered that one, and picked up the other coming in from LAX and returned her to our home suburb seamlessly! 07.01.2022 Helped the new crew from Narangba travel from Scarborough Marina to Coomera Marina to take delivery of this lovely cruiser July 2018. Kia Carnival had 6 people and a dog... plus all the on board provisions for the boat journey back to Moreton Bay Boat Club.

04.01.2022 Albatross Transfers has just completed transferring over 400 people from the Colonial Motor Village on Beams Rd, Taigum to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and back again. Obviously the transfers were not all done in one night..... we took guests to the Celine Dion concert, then Katy Perry, Pink and finally Bob Dylan. Our promise to all our guests was to have them back to the motel before midnight on any night.... We only had one night where one lot of guests were returned just after midnight.... and that was because Pink was an hour late starting her show. Thank you to the MDD team who assisted and made it all possible.
