25.01.2022 He made all sacrifice so that a yardstick Could be set for the coming generation . We could understand that standing for truth has to be the aim even if for tha...t we have to sit on hot iron plates or in boiling water . We do remember serving Chabeel on this day but the main aim of standing for truth has somewhere lost . On this shaheede day Of Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj Let's pray for a CHARDIKALA of Sikh Panth which has a foundation of Sacrifice and selfless Sewa to Humanity . #VoiceOfVoiceless #HumanityFrst

20.01.2022 #BlessedtobeSikh #ProudMoment #Innovator Sikh Innovator who broke the record of Thomas Edison #Gurtej_Singh_Sandhu, a Sikh who broke the record of #Thomas_Ediso...n by having more #US_patents. He has 1299 US Patents which surpasses the 1093 Patents of Thomas Edison. He has many achievements. He is also being recognised as being the seventh #most_prolific_inventor of all time on the basis of the number of US utility patents. He has a series of patents for #integrated_circuits to his name & #Institute_of_Electrical_&_Electronics_Engineers_Andrew_S_Groove_Award in 2018. Gurtej Singh was born in London and was only 3 years old when he moved to India. He is a graduate from #IIT_Delhi in Electrical Engineering & went to US in 1990 for further studies and did PhD in Physics from #University_of_North_Carolina at #Chapel_Hill. In the beginning of his career, he had two jobs in his hands, the first one was from the then Top American Computer Memory Maker, & the other one was from 11-year-old start-up, Idaho based #Micron_Technology. He was confused. Then with consultation with his professor, he joined an 11-year-old start-up company as it would provide him numerous chances to learn and experiment. Today, he is Vice-President in that Company. The list of Singh's patents includes innovations in self-driving cars, forming photonics structure & self-aligned nano cells, among others. He has made significant contributions to the DRAM & NAND memory chip scaling. Today, Micron & its competitors, Samsung & SK Hyic, accounts for 95 per cent of the global DRAM market & for Sandhu, this is his biggest reward. Gurtej Singh has also been an active mentor to engineering majors & faculty at #Bouse_State_University. Source: ThebetterIndia.com

19.01.2022 14. Sikh Traditions 14.02 The Sikh Flag (Nishan Sahib) Every nation and community has its own flag, which symbolises and reflects its culture and tradition and ...is also a symbol of its honour and dignity. On seeing the Sikh flag (Nishan Sahib), it immediately strikes that it represents a Sikh place of worship (Gurdwara), a place for the worship of the Supreme Being. The Sikh flag features the design of two swords crossed at the hilt and spread wide towards the upper side of the flag. In the centre, between the two swords is painted the double-edged sword, which signifies the fusion of the two swords of Miri and Piri into one double edged sword (Khanda). Extract From Sikh Faith - An Epitome of Inter-Faith for Divine Realisation, written by Shiromani Panth Ratan Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. To order or more queries : [email protected]
