Just a notice to let everyone know that the Albury Upcycle and Recycle Shop will be closed tomorrow for the Australia Day Public Holiday. We will re-open on Wednesday business as usual.... 17.01.2022 Public Announcement The Wodonga Re-Use Shop will be re-opening for business from Monday the 18th of May. Due to COVID-19, strict measures will be put in place ...to ensure the safety of staff and customers who enter the store. Operating hours will be from 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am to 2:00pm Saturday and Sunday until further notice. The following measures have been put in place to ensure that we are all meeting social distancing requirements : - 10 x customers will be allowed in the store at one time - 2 x customers per family at one time - Please follow floor markings throughout the store - Increased cleaning and infection control measures - No drop offs to the store, please do this through the Wodonga Waste Management Centre - If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home otherwise you will be refused entry. There will be signage located throughout the store with store social distancing rules listed. Lastly, please be respectful to our team, we are putting these measures in place to ensure safety to all but to also help all customers with their needs. We look forward to seeing you all in store. 12.01.2022 The Aware Programs Manager Dylan Muggivan recently purchased some old beer kegs from the Albury Upcycle and Recycle Shop. While in Perth at the start of the year, he noticed that kegs were being used for purposes other then holding precious beer - who would've thought. With this project, he cut the top of the kegs off, drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, cleaned the kegs down, applied a priming coat then another two coats of black paint. Once dry the kegs were filled ...with potting soil and some beautiful port royal magnolias for the outdoor area. If anyone has any other great ideas for works they complete, please feel free to share onto our page.

11.01.2022 Hello all, I hope you are all keeping well. Just sharing some pictures of projects our happy customers have completed. Nerida has recycled a dresser bought from Aware upcycle shop to pretty up her garden. Great Job Nerida!!... If anyone else would like to send through some before and after photos of their projects please feel free to send them in an we will post them on our page.

11.01.2022 A huge shout out to the wonderful folks at Aware Programs for generously donating $300 to our Repair Café. The money was raised through a sausage sizzle and sit...e fees at the recent Garage Sale Trail and will be used to buy a set of electronic scales (to weigh and tally items diverted from landfill) and contribute to insurance costs. Sincere thanks to Dylan Muggivan and team for this unexpected windfall! See more

07.01.2022 Hello followers. Plenty of posts over the past few days. Lynette Maloney donates her time with Aware and runs the mosaic classes through the Albury Upcycle and Recycle Shop. Due to COVID-19, unfortunately we won't be running another class for the foreseeable future but hope that we can have this again in 2021. Below is a photo of Lynette picking up the potting table Aware donated for her time doing the Mosaic classes.... Thanks again Lynette!!

05.01.2022 Recently the lovely Lynette Maloney and her participants completed the 6 x week Mosaic Program held at the Aware Upcycle and Recycle Shop Albury. These are some photos of the completed projects the group worked on, great job to everyone involved. 01.01.2022 Happy Tuesday everyone. Just sharing a project that Miranda Oliver has been working on. Miranda purchased these ramps from the shop and have given them new life. Good job Miranda! If any of our customers want to send through pictures of projects they have done on items purchased through the shop, send them thrugh and we will be more then happy to share with the Community.
