24.01.2022 SUMMER SEASON 2020 Our touch football competition will commence on the 12th October 2020. We realise that things will look a lot differently this year as a result of COVID-19. We are in the process of putting together the nomination and season information, which will be available over the next few days.... It's over to you guys to get your players and team ready!!

17.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: Game Day Requirements Games will be run on the Arrive Play Leave principal. All participants must complete the Attendance Register via QR Code or paper register. Required participants only. Spectators are not encouraged to attend.... Remember physical distancing requirements while not on the playing field. No physical greetings. No spitting, clearing nose, etc. No social gatherings before or after games at the ground. All participants are encouraged to download & use the COVIDSafe App. All players are to wash or sanitise their hands prior to the game. All players to have their names marked off the team sheet & their shirt number recorded. Players are not to share drink bottles, shirts or any other equipment. Team managers/captains to check the score at the end of the game with the referee. Not required to sign-off the score sheet due to COVID restrictions. Any injuries which occur during the game are to be reported following the games completion.

17.01.2022 THAT'S A WRAP! Thank you to all the teams who competed in our summer competition and a special mention to the grand final winners - congratulations! A special mention to our committee members for all their hard work throughout the season and also a shout out to the referees and duty referees who give up their time to provide assistance to the competition. 16.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: Duty Referee Requirements All duty referees are required to supply their own whistle due to COVID requirements. All duty referees are to wear a white shirt or singlet.... Duty referees are to report to the Admin/Canteen area prior to game time to receive their game allocation. The duty referee is to collect the following items from the Admin/Canteen area to take to the field: Game Ball Score Sheet Team Sheets Hand Sanitiser The score sheet is to be completed by one (1) referee. The team sheets are to be completed by the team managers/captains. At the end of the game the referee is to return al items to the Admin/Canteen area.

This is where teams are to ARRIVE PLAY LEAVE from to ensure social distancing and safety precautions are met as a result of COVID-19.



15.01.2022 RETURN-TO-PLAY GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS Albury Touch Association expects all members, participants, coaches, officials, administrative staff and volunteers to: Comply with the health directions of government and public health authorities as issued from time to time;... Understand and act in accordance with the COVID-19 Safety Plan (to be issued to Team Captains) as amended from time to time; Comply with any testing and precautionary measures implemented by Albury Touch Association; Act with honesty and integrity in regard to the state of their personal health and any potential symptoms; and Monitor their health and take a cautious approach to self isolation and reporting of potential symptoms. Albury Touch Association will comply with the Australian government’s road map to a COVID Safe Australia, which places limits on the type of activity that can be conducted and the number of people who can gather at facilities, notwithstanding the activities permitted by the AIS Framework.

15.01.2022 TEAM NOMINATIONS EXTENDED We are extending the timeframes for team nominations to Friday 2nd October, closing at 5pm. We have had a great response so far and this will allow any additional teams who are thinking of joining us, enough time to get orgbanised.... Competition starts Monday 12th October.

10.01.2022 IT'S GAME DAY! Welcome back to Touch Football - Season 2020 / 2021 kicks off this evening from 6.10pm at Jelbart Park, Lavington Game Times: 6.10pm and 7.10pm... Teams are to ARRIVE - PLAY - LEAVE As you enter Jelbart Park, you will need to scan the QR code to check you in at the location to adhere to our COVID safety requirements.

10.01.2022 ** Have you organised your team uniforms? ** 1. Team uniforms may be any colour except white (no white or predominantly white shirts or singlets allowed). 2. All players must wear matching shirts.... 3. All shirts are to have a clearly visible number on the back. 4. Numbers must be unique (no two players are to wear the same number). 5. All teams to be in correct uniform by Round 4. 6. Any player not in correct uniform will not be allowed to take the field of play. 7. Players are not allowed to swap shirts during the game. 8. All players are to wear socks and suitable footwear. 9. Shoes or boots with screw in studs are not allowed.

08.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: SPECTATORS AND PLAYERS UNDER 18 * A maximum of two parents or careers may accompany a player under 18 years of age and be present as a spectator during the game. * Strictly no other spectators. ... * Players, referees and officials only permitted at the grounds. * Teams can not gather for drinks after the game. Players must leave immediately at the conclusion of their game.

08.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: NO CANTEEN Due to COVID-19, there will be no canteen available at touch football. That means no drinks, water or lollies will be sold. Players are to ensure they are bringing their own drink bottle to the game and not sharing that drink bottle with others.

07.01.2022 THE DRAW AND DUTY REFEREE SCHEDULE FOR ROUNDS 2 AND 3 ARE NOW LIVE Please check our website - https://albury.nswtouch.com.au/ There has been changes to the Tuesday night mixed draw, please now check whether your team is in the Blue Competition or the Yellow Competition.... 06.01.2022 GRAND FINALS 2020 Congratulations to those teams who have made it through to their grand final matches next Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th March. Herewith is a summary of the games to be played. A short presentation will be held at the canteen at the commencement of each time slot. We encourage teams who have played throughout the season to come down to Jelbart Park to enjoy two evenings of great touch footy and cheer on teams in the finals!

04.01.2022 RETURN-TO-PLAY GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS Competition to be in accordance with Government guidelines. Participation numbers to be limited as required (currently 500). Attendance register to be maintained (QR Code and physical attendance sheet).... Arrive, Play, Leave protocol to be adopted. Game times to be scheduled to allow reduced interaction between teams / participants. Opposition teams to substitute from opposite sides of the field, no sub box to be used in order to assist with social distancing. Spectators will be discouraged from attending. For minors only one (1) parent/guardian/caregiver per player, where required. No pre or post game social gatherings. Game balls will be provided by the Association and sanitised pre and post game. That team captain registers the team 3. The team captain will need ALL their player email addresses so they can send a link to the players and invite them to the team. There is no cost to register the team. Player Cost: $80 per person, per team, payable online at time of player registration.

You are not currently awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test. You have not been in contact with a known COVID-19 case in the past 14 days. You do not have any COVID-19, Flu, or Cold symptoms. You have not travelled internationally in the past 14 days. You have not attended a location in NSW at a time & date that requires you to self-isolate. * NSW resident you have not travelled outside the Border Region in Victoria in the past 14 days. VIC resident you have not visited a Restricted Area in the past 14 days. * VIC resident you have not visited an Area of Concern in the past 14 days. * Victorian residents must hold a current valid Border Region Residents Permit to participate. * Locations, regions, areas are as defined by the NSW Government & NSW Health.
