25.01.2022 Today should have been the Highland Comp at Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod, lets hope things will settle so we can get back to it in 2021. Take care and stay safe everyone.

22.01.2022 As President of the ABHDI, may I wish our members and friends across the world a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. 2020 has been quite the yea...r. COVID-19 has impacted the entire global highland dancing community. My kudos to all the teachers who found innovative ways to continue teaching their dancers during these difficult times and to the organisers of the many online activities that have helped to keep those dancers motivated. Thank you to the Australian State and Regional Committees, Examining Bodies, Judges, Teachers and Dancers for your continued support as the ABHDI moves away from 2020 into a new and exciting year. It will be great for Australia to get back into the swing of things in 2021.In closing, my thoughts are also very much with anyone who may not now be able to travel to spend Christmas with their family. 12.01.2022 UPDATE: hopefully you all have received the email from Murray Youth Performing Arts advising that classes have been cancelled for the rest of term, with the hope to resume classes at the beginning of term 2. We will be investing some innovative ways we can ensure that your little ones still receive their classes but we are unsure what this will look like for now. In the mean time, please send us a fb message if you would like some individualised exercises to practice! ...
