19.01.2022 Have not read a good book in ages (simply due to having too many other things to do!)... but on my plane ride to Launceston I took this one along and love it. Lara Briden had a really refreshing way of sharing all about hormones... and this book gives some good perspectives in understanding women and their hormones after 40 years old. Being a naturopath I already understand a fair amount about hormones and their amazing symphonies, but reading this has been so wonderfully supportive in a practical way and so far I am enjoyed the deepening in understanding of my own body so that I can then hopefully be of support for others too. Well worth the read!

10.01.2022 A recent trop to Launceston, Tasmania and I stumbled across the local botanical gardens...When I was in my early 20's my favourite thing was to wander around the botanical gardens in Geneva, Switzerland. Call it connection with nature and God or the love of plants and wonderment of all nature has on offer... this to me represented moments of a type of sanctuary from the craziness of life where I could feel more of myself and the things that really mattered. I loved plants and went to University to study botany and immunology and biochemistry, whilst not yet realising that this was a foundational stepping stone to my yet to come Naturopathy studies... I love looking back at seemingly random things in life and realising how nothing is nothing and nothing is random.
