22.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the state lockdown we are unable to provide Oz Harvest today or next Tuesday, or the Puddle Jumpers bakery delivery on Monday. Below are some alternative options that are still available within the Onkaparinga area. Please note that the Puddle Jumpers Drive by food assistance is only on Friday’s. If you are unable to access these options & are in need of food assistance please contact us, either through this Facebook page or via Kerry our Community Development Coordinator on 0457 671 385.

21.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week with the theme being - Always Was, Always Will be - to recognise that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Here at the Children’s Centre the Kindy children will be celebrating NAIDOC week through storytelling & art work.

19.01.2022 Please come & get some produce from Puddle Jumpers Incorporated if you can make use of anything. Located on the walkway at the entrance to the Children’s Centre.

18.01.2022 Unfortunately there is no Puddle Jumpers food delivery today or next week. Also Oz Harvest will only be available on Friday this week. Oz Harvest deliveries differ during the school holidays please see the attached schedule.

15.01.2022 We have recently received notification from the Educational Department that we are to minimise the number of people on site. With this in mind we have had to make the hard decision that we can only continue till the end of term with essential programs and those that support vulnerable families. This includes Kindy, Occasion Care, Immunisation Clinic & the Puddle Jumpers & Oz Harvest food support. This is not the way we wanted to end the year, but we hope everyone has a good Christmas break & we look forward to having groups back at the Centre at the beginning of next year.

15.01.2022 Kindy and Occasional Care programs are operating as normal, with hand sanitizing and adult social distancing restrictions in place. We are reviewing all other programs and will make a post shortly regarding the outcome

13.01.2022 Thousands of South Australian families are in strict lockdown for the next few days. I myself was going to be performing at a number of schools this week and ne...xt. That probably can’t happen now, so I thought I would bring the concert to you all, from my home to yours! Join me tomorrow at 2pm SA time for a Facebook Live little lockdown gig. I hope to see you there! p.s those in other states are welcome too :)

13.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone who donated towards our Christmas Hampers. We had lots of food, children’s toys and even gift vouchers donated. Through all of your generosity we were able to make up lots of hampers that went out to local families, all who were extremely grateful.

13.01.2022 The Department of Education have advised to minimise the number of people coming onsite. With this is mind we have made the difficult decision to cancel community programs until the next easing of restrictions on the 1st Dec. Currently the only programs operating at the Children’s Centre are Kindy, Occasional Care & Oz Harvest (which will be outside) We are looking forward to resuming our full range of programs again soon.

12.01.2022 kids&dads is on this Sunday morning 9:30-12 at the Aldinga Beach Children's Centre This week we will attempt some Crystal Growing as well as enjoying some of the fine weather outside. Hats, sunscreen and water an absolute must!!!! Please remember it is still BYO food, sanitise or wash your hands on arrival, social distance from other families and take the week off if anyone is unwell. 09.01.2022 Oz Harvest will be available outside the Children’s Centre earlier today from 12 - 1.30pm.

09.01.2022 We now have a Gratitude Box at the Children’s Centre. This is a way to say thank you to any member of staff who you feel has been helpful or supportive. The Gratitude Box is located on the left hand side after you enter the main sliding door. If you would like to send a message of thanks please write your message on the paper slips & then pop it in the box.
