08.01.2022 Our crews have recently given Avonsleigh Common Bushland Reserve a makeover! The works included: The creation of 2 new garden beds that now feature a mixtur...e of Grevillea Crimson Villea, Poa Eskdale and Poa Kingsdale The installation of a gravel footpath that leads to a picnic table in the centre of the garden beds - a beautiful spot for residents and passersby to sit in the sun and have a coffee! The addition of large mud rocks to assist in maintaining healthy soil and to help protect the large mature trees in the reserve. Works were fully funded by Council and are now complete for our community to enjoy For more information about parks, playgrounds, recreation and bush reserves in our shire, head to: https://bit.ly/3f6H3GT Our outdoor playgrounds, skate parks, and outdoor gym equipment have reopened. BBQs are not allowed to be used, but you can use picnic tables and seating.
