24.01.2022 Dear friends and families, At Alef today we welcomed back our students. We would like to firstly applaud them for their patience during these strange and stressful times. This may be the longest our students have stayed home and as they slowly transition back into routine we are inspired by their strength and positive attitude. Furthermore, Alef staff have been working tirelessly to meet the needs of our parents during Ramadan. This involves organising new Ramadan timetables and holding free Islamic classes during the holy month. Remember to stay calm and move forward each day! Welcome back, Alef team!

23.01.2022 Dear families, As you know, the coronavirus situation is changing rapidly: the World Health Organisation has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, the Australian Government has announced that all incoming arrivals into Australia will need to enter mandatory self-isolation for 14 days, and all non-essential public gatherings of more than 500 people will now be limited. We know this is an unsettling time for everyone, and the health, safety and wellbeing of you, our staff and th...e broader community remains Alef Academy’s highest priority. While we have no confirmed cases within our service, we are following the latest advice from government and health authorities, that is to progressively move our face to face classes to online. What is online learning? With online learning you will continue to interact with your teachers and fellow students via ZOOM. Zoom is an online based program similar to skype and you can download this program for free via this link: https://zoom.us/ Parents and students will receive individual messages with personalised links to access their online class. Please continue to ensure good hygiene practices such as frequent hand-washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and avoiding touching your face and mouth.
