12.01.2022 Those who know me well (and those who live with me - sorry @rossage.roll) know that I am no good at gardening. It's true - I am much more comfortable with a cut flower than I am with one in a pot or in my garden. But I grew these poppies from a SEED! A SEED people! And I tell you - there's something very beautiful and satisfying about it. Choose a place, dig a hole, drop in the seeds, wish them luck, cover them up and give them a drink. Tend to them over months and months an...d check in on their progress. Then a little seedling pops her head up and you think...I DID IT! Then she grows taller and then one day BOOM, she blooms. And boy is she beautiful. She's not perfect, she's not strong, she shows signs of growing up outside in the rain and the sun and the rain again. But she is delicate and beautiful and special and MINE. Be with nature. Notice. Watch it create these amazing miracles.
