18.01.2022 Trivia Tuesday Did you know that William Light was the first Surveyor-General of the new British Province of South Australia and was known for choosing the site of the colony's capital, Adelaide. Light was the first to accurately chart the Port Adelaide River, before selecting the location and designing and laying out the plan of the City of Adelaide. 03.01.2022 Yesterday morning a group of staff members volunteered their time to take part in a Sorting and Packing session at the Backpacks 4 SA Kids INC. warehouse. It was a great morning, thoroughly enjoyed and very rewarding. There was good banter, interesting dancing, yummy cake and most importantly many bags packed. It is amazing the volume of bags/support packs needed, but the team there run a tight ship and are doing amazing things for the commu...nity. 02.01.2022 Meet the Team - Ben Shepherd our Chief Remote Pilot "I have been part of the Alexander Symonds team for 4 years now. I have been involved in the surveying industry across Australia for 18 years and have had the privilege of working with some of the best in our industry. Surveying has provided some fantastic career opportunities along the journey. I currently hold a license to undertake cadastral surveys in South Australia and Victoria, but have a few other roles inside the business. My roles include, managing our fleet of technology, assisting with training of our staff in the use of our technology, providing technical support to our staff, and overseeing our RPAS team as Chief remote pilot. I am passionate about what technology can bring to our industry and enjoy the challenges of implementing new technology."

Working alongside some of Adelaide's finest Construction Companies; Kyren Group, Saccardo Constructions and Mitcon the building stands at 134m high with 37 floors making it the tallest building in Adelaide's CBD at time of completion.
