20.01.2022 We’ve all heard the age-old adage, when building a house, build a good foundation first. This is very similar to ensuring your superannuation is well set up when you’re in your 20’s. When reviewing your super I will ensure that the fees you are paying aren’t out of this world and that your investments are achieving the right levels of growth Several small changes today will make a significant difference come retirement. 20.01.2022 As a child there was one list, I tried my hardest to stay clear of. I would be extra nice to my siblings and eat all my dinner that list of course was Santa’s naughty list. This week the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), released a naughty list of their own the Your Future, Your Super Performance Test. APRA is Looking at the performance of selected superannuation products and giving them a pass or fail I can only imagine the lengths superfunds are now ...going to go too, to ensure they stay off that list. This year the test focused on my super options; however, the test will soon become more expansive. I’m glad to say that 84% of superfund products tested passed, although, that still leaves 16% of superfunds tested having failed. If you find your superfund on APRA’s naughty list give me a call!

As we move into lockdown 6 (starting to sound a bit like a movie franchise.) it’s important that we keep an eye out for each other and lend a helping hand where possible.
