21.01.2022 A proud day for women in Local Government yesterday with the induction of Cr Elizabeth Clapham into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame. Elizabeth was Western Australia first woman elected to local government in 1920, a year after SA’s Cr Benny, to the Town of Cottesloe. Elizabeth was also the first to be elected to any tier of govt in WA. ... Congratulations to al involved in making this happen!!
