25.01.2022 Hi friends, Haven't posted here in a while, so thought I'd share a new time-lapse of one of my most recent paintings inspired by a revelation on limitations, please read below: "I had an encouraging conversation with a close friend recently as we talked over breakfast. Amongst many topics, both random and real: we spoke about limitations. And how often, we think that because we dont have all the resources we need, it leads us to the limitation of actually creating somethin...g completely new and beautiful. I took on the challenge of feeling limited as I painted this piece. I chose only one paint brush to paint with just so that I could intentionally understand what it is to feel less resourceful. I didnt know what the end result was going to look like or what I even wanted to paint. Stroking the brush without a plan in mind for the first time ever, and it was amusing. I chose a different colour in the moment and whatever painting technique came to mind, my hands followed. I say this all, because we are called to innovate and think past old mindsets. To create something new every single day, even if we feel limited. God is showing me that even if I dont feel like Im equipped with all the tools, that He will still use me in my lack to create something new and beautiful."

06.01.2022 Its official! So excited to announce that Im holding my first ART EXHIBITION on Oct 12 2019! . For those who have been apart of my art journey, this has been a dream of mine for years. Ive put it off for so long - either life has been so full, I wasnt ready financially or there were seasons of believing I couldnt do something as bold as this. But this year has been different. After receiving a Word from a stranger about how my artwork was one day going to influence and i...nspire people globally, I got enough motivation to push through. Ive somehow - even when life has been the busiest of all seasons - had the ability to prioritise time towards creating and its been so refreshing. Overall, its been the greatest reminder of why I dreamed of doing it in the first place. . I say all that to say, please join me in celebrating this new milestone. It encourages me to never forget the teaching of Gods Word, but to keep it in my heart for the sake of my overall well-being. It highlights the importance of valuing self-care, looking after ourselves practically (our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical), as well as everything in our everyday life that allows us to be functional. This not only affects us, but also tho...se around us. If I can take care of myself, then I can take care of others. In the same way, if we are taking care of whats important, not just our body, but our Spirit then we are promised peace and prosperity. Nourishment for both our body and spirit is key to this and so why wouldnt I want that in my life? This Proverbs also instills the truth that LOVE and FAITHFULNESS should never leave who we are, as if written on our hearts. Im encouraged to take every opportunity I can to love others unconditionally, even when Im faced with conditions that say otherwise. Im encouraged to exercise true faithfulness, even when things around me try to lessen my faith. To trust in God is ALL I need. especially when I know Hes already done it ALL. . When insecurity creeps in, when discouragement knocks on my door, when anxiety rises up or when disobedience yells out for attention, to always remind myself of the God I serve. Hes my helper and I have victory over strongholds through Him alone. To overcome these means, I can never not trust in Him. Hes proven His faithfulness on the cross and full trust requires ALL of my heart, not half of it. Its never one foot in, one foot out, otherwise Id still be leaning on my own understanding. If I fully submit to His ways, He makes my paths straight. . This painting reminds me not to use wisdom through my own eyes and that I have access to holy wisdom; the only nourishment I need. [The grey represents our human heart and the blue wave represents the nourishment of wisdom.]
