20.01.2022 Some bigger sunnies to go with my big hair. Thank you for your patience as I learn to understand selfies.. or how I can share in a healthy, happy, or helpful way! People like faces, I know -it is a human thing. Yes that is my (biodegradable) coffee cup in the reflection Practicing smiling is probably a good idea. Not for other people, but for ourselves. If we upturn the corners of our mouth in a Buddha or Yogic smile, we will feel instantly uplifted and calmer. Try it whe...n you are on your own, and see how you feel I know I might look young in this photo -you know how the selfie cameras are (If I look younger than I am in "real" life, it is most likely courtesy of Yoga, being vegan and vegetarian before that, and my faith in source energy) but I have in fact many, many years under my belt. I very much have the experience to do what I do, and guide others in those practices -don't be deceived. I remember what feels like aeons ago when I was 17/18 I auditioned for an internationally well-known drama school. I did a terrible audition which is why I didn't get in -I had absolutely no idea how to prepare a monologue on my own. Probably in a effort to spare my feelings -One of the unintentionally things said, was: "Come back when you have some scars" Ha! The misunderstanding of how life works! I think for many, many people the biggest challenges (and fuel for spiritual growth and self-understanding -put it like that) take place long, long before they are adults! In general, I am not scared of peoples' pain or even doubts about existence itself. I won't carry anyone because that doesn't work, but I am not scared of peoples' suffering. I offer tools. Tools that really work, and bring about peace especially through challenging circumstances. I am for health, wellness & wellbeing - for the body, the mind, the emotions - the practices I practice and teach do this. They also bring joy. That kind of joy that is not reliant on any thing. If you want to know how to make a million bucks, maybe call someone else - but if you wanna know how to be peaceful, joyful, healthy and content under any circumstances -then call me. 20.01.2022 How are you making your darkness conscious? There is no such thing as darkness really rather it is an absence of light. How I make my darkness conscious is through self-study -which includes reading the work of spiritual masters (My soul guides me on what that means but reading lists are a useful starting point!). It also includes emotional and physical awareness which I primarily learn through my Yoga Asana practice, and meditive processes such as Yin Yoga and plain 'ol seat...ed meditation. (I think people tend to think I do more of this then I do -I AiM for 15 mins a day. When I actually do sit down to meditate for 15 mins that usually means 30/45/60 mins ) I do however do a lot of awareness work with my Pranayama. This is very effective for me. In fact my personal practice is very focused on my inner body. So when I am practicing rather then teaching, even if it's a "kick-ass" Vinyasa class, if I can't find my breath I back off/rest until I can This really works for me -it brings joy. Fantastic joy - which is why I get so excited when I teach and sometimes maybe say too much (I try to contain myself!) I just want to share the joy! My Yin practice is also my fantastic new tool of being and meditation. I do this in the mornings and evenings As well as practicing Reiki on myself (including a type of practice where I am simply inviting more awareness and allowing the Reiki to "invite the light"), I also really benefit from recieving treatments - ideally once a week. Other methods, are disciplines -ie going off sweets, sugar, caffeine for 40 days, restricting F.B usage, getting up way before work - yep, the "demons" will surface when we let go of our emotional "crutches" A new process for me is asking myself "What is what I don't want, telling me I do want". 18.01.2022 For today only: "live the attitude of Gratitude" I call this appreciation. Appreciation attracts more of what we appreciate. It is never about ignoring "what is", but about refocusing where possible (Many of our negative thought patterns are simply habits and neural pathways that do not serve us. We feel we are "doing something" by simply going over and over what we "do not like"!) Appreciation trains our brain towards positivity. It does not need to be "fake".... Take your time to appreciate every detail of what you are appreciating! This is one of our Reiki Precepts, the precepts that guide us to accept that we are on a spiritual journey. That our spiritual journey is foremost. For example invariably when I go on holidays, even a short weekend trip, I'll get lots of bookings when I am not even trying Sometimes we've just gotta "let go of the cork" and allow our goodness to float to the surface. A little flexibility about that allows us to perceive opportunities as they are

04.01.2022 It can be done. The more you become aware of yourself, the more you become aware of what negative energy "tells you, you want". Ride it out, knowing that it is clarifying your preferences for you. Rather than trying to fix other people, when you do have the option (which is quite frequently) move in the direction of what feels good for you. What does feel good for you? What are the activities that make you feel connected, relaxed and content? Do more of that! It really is that simple. Stop fighting with others unless that's what you want to do more of. Ride it out, acknowledge and know that any negativity is helping you clarify what you want IN GENERAL. (Try not to make what you want about specific people -open the gate wide for positive energy to flow, by going general )

I adore the great outdoors, so my ideal mini break is doing something where I can revel in the glory of nature, and ideally experience some good animal sightings I am imagining however that all the mosies are dead this time of year?? It will energetically clear the space if you got sage in that mix however (specifically white sage)

02.01.2022 This would be the practice of the Reiki precept: For today only do not anger. Those are simply words, unless we have ways to practice. Experiencing anger, is fine and normal and healthy. We all have the full range of emotions.... Learning meditation techniques, and how to watch and observe our emotional and mental bodies (as I teach in a variety of ways on Reiki courses) helps us bring that practice into every day life. For me, the best time to observe myself and possible feelings of anger and/or how I am walking, is early mornings transferring via public transport! It is a good opportunity to observe my vibe! 01.01.2022 A delicious slow sequence. 4 poses with a gentle warm-up to activate the flow of Chi, and including a soothing Savasana. Rebalance energy in the kidney and bladder Meridians primarily. Accept, undertand and release pent-up emotional energy. While working the legs we are also energising and activating the Muladhara Chakra (Root/base Chakra). Bringing about feelings of support and security, acknowledging any fear or insecurity.
