25.01.2022 Reiki sent earlier Endings make for new beginnings. Ploughed/prepared/fertile earth "came up". A field ready to be planted and at the same time also showing the start of lush green growth.... Other things came up too, but that image returned to me, so I'll mention The mind kinda "drifts off" during Reiki, similiar to a meditative state and that's when incoming thoughts arise.

21.01.2022 Complimentary distant Reiki going out Sunday at 6pm. To receive, simply like, or comment on this post before 5pm Sunday. Distant Reiki works a little like a non-religious prayer for others (a little ) You can sit back, relax and close your eyes for 30 mins at that time or simply be open to the energy "reaching" you at the best time It's all good. There is nothing "to do".... This is a very general Reiki intention which we often use during in-person treatments. The client picks their own intentions and we also include these more general intentions "May the Reiki go where it's needed most" "Or something better". In this instance for distant Reiki, it is absolutely fine if you would like to write out some specific intentions (no need to send them). I would definitely write out "What you DO want" rather than what you DON'T want... This is an extremely useful exercise within itself. In the in-person treatments I help draw this out and remind people where necessary that we are "translating" and fine-tuning what we DO want. For example initially sometimes people think that by talking about what they don't want, and what is "wrong" that they are telling me what they do want. It is perfect to have all sorts of negative feelings about what we are experiencing and it is in fact very important to acknowledge feelings Once we have done that on a personal level however, the exercise is to "translate" that. It is very powerful. For example if you have drawn seemingly "crap" situations into your life, what you may be looking for is the opposite (It is a good place to start). What you are looking for is not the absence of something "bad" What you are looking for is "something" in itself. The "bad" things usually highlight what we DO want -perhaps that is their purpose? Sometimes "sorting" through these emotions (and repeated thought patterns) is a little like sorting a bag of yarn! Just begin, pull on one string and begin! What is the "negative" situation highlighting that you DO want..? Give it a go! P.S It is best on paper/written. The picture of the aeroplane seemed nostalgic! I have experienced feeling like I wanted to "fly away" in the past; I don't think I really meant this in terms of hopping on a plane, but the picture definitely echoes the sentiment of "leaving troubles behind"!... It gets to the point where clinging to the way things were, or the way we wanted them to be, is more painful than accepting the present, and rolling with the changes. I was going to call this "Reiki for moving the feck on" That's the way it feels like sometimes, right? The discomfort becomes impossible to ignore. Let us roll with the changes, let us be brave. Let us put the best foot forward and step into the moment that is patiently calling our name Distant Reiki works a little like a prayer -a little Reiki can only work for the good, so if the personal intention is not for the higher good of that person or/and the higher good of the whole, it will not work in that specific way. 12.01.2022 How often are you worrying and focusing on what you dont want, and how often are you reposing, letting go (by refocusing on something positive) and "allowing your cork to rise". Hope floats as the saying goes! Allow plenty of time for positive energy and therefore positive momentum to rise up. To do this you need to relax more, and do more things that bring about positive momentum. Its that simple. If something is "going wrong" in your life, to feel better and get moving -...percentage-wise, you need to do more things that allow you to feel better, than indulging thoughts that make you feel bad! What are the things that help you let go? What are the activities that make you feel good? For me: Nature (and doing anything in nature), the beach, Yoga (many different styles including Yin -fantastic if I am "wrecked"), renovation shows, vibrational music, essential oils/incense, doing a job with my full attention, tidying up the garden, mystery/romance audiobooks podcasts on Yoga, chatting to friends and family on messenger, galleries, funny jokes, planning travel and trips, road trips, camping, adventures, interacting with animals (even if from afar); a little doggo crawled into my lap the other day at the beach -they are so funny with their lovability and willingness to be loved, enjoyable planning even when it is way out into the future, garden centres, sunbathing in gentle sunlight... Reiki really helps when I feel like "I am in a hole" emotionally or practically speaking. It is the very best thing to help, uplift and offer a "buffer zone". There in lies the "dilemma" but really it is accepting the feeling internally and following the right feeling stepping stones externally. With Reiki sessions, people are often coming for an emotional reason. The little chat we have before the session (optional) really helps to line up with what we are actually wanting. Often this is verbally dismantling/sorting through a tangle of thoughts to find a "clear path" or a c...lear "ask" for the Reiki session. It is very helpful to have someone to bounce something off so we can untangle circular thoughts that are creating emotional turmoil! Rocking up and doing something is always better than waiting until you have the energy to do "something good/well/amazing" Consistency For example you want to exercise but are waiting until you have the energy for that "epic workout"? You will most likely be waiting. What do you have the energy for? Do that! Let go of perfectionism and soon you will have plenty of energy to do what you tho...ught was an "epic workout" except it will seem normal because you built indurance incrementally. Just challenge yourself a little. If you are feeling huge reluctance it means you are trying to challenge yourself too much. Have goals but listen to your emotional energy. 10.01.2022 Yip! Sometimes it just seems like such hassle to involve other fallible beings -I understand. However, the world is not divided into helpers and those that are helped. We are both -it is an important aspect for balance. Being helped is similiar to a muscle we learn to strengthen. (When a muscle is strong it can both contract and relax.) Some of what is offered will be helpful, and some aspects within that offer may not very helpful or perhaps even manipulative. ... When we become "good" at receiving, we can easily distinguish and sort the helpful from that which we kindly decline We usually do not need to say no to everything or yes to everything! (Obvs. somethings you will want to decline entirely because it is easier for you) Allow other people to be "good" too! It is also important for them (their wellness and happiness levels)

A huge irony is that the less of a big deal it is the quicker you will remedy it and make amends. When it doesn't mean "you are a bad person" for getting something wrong it is so much easier to see any imbalance clearly -without judgement. 05.01.2022 How can you move upwards on the emotional well-being scale. This is not denying how we are feeling or plastering positivity over underlying feelings. It can be as simple as choosing to go for a daily walk, eating better, doing a Yoga practice, choosing well-being practices -such as treating yourself to a Reiki session every now and again. ... In the present moment it can be as simple as marking the end and beginning of different periods in the day (with awareness), reframing and organization Here is a new segment of the day... Something has finished and I am moving into something else. (In Yoga this is described in terms of Saucha, which basically means cleanliness but is also associated with order and clear divisions between activities). Is it a rest period? And what would feel most restful for you right now Is it a take stock and organize period? What are you taking stock of and how can you do that best (Try not leap too far ahead, just be on the step you're on and do that job as best as possible) Is it an eating and preparing time period? How can I do that most effectively and largely singularly -ie if it is a time for eating and enjoying food -then focus fully on that rather than trying to organize to do lists in your head! Writing lists can really help -list writing is a small intestine meridian exercise. It helps to sort the gold from the dross. A surprisingly effective thing to do is to write a list of the things on your mind that you would like to do at present, or that need to be done. Funnily the very act of writing a list really helps. Once I emotionally let go of the list, I often find that the right timing for these things often "comes up". To-do lists in our head are often simply another way to worry and promote anxiety. Neither of these feelings are useful in terms of productivity. 03.01.2022 Many peeps think that the best way to make a decision is to turn up the volume on anxiety and beat their way through -trying to flee the feelings they are experiencing around a situation. (Mostly peeps do not even have a clear emotional picture of what they want or where they are going, yet they still want to take action or "do anything").Hmmm..... That is a fantastic recipe for making bad decisions! I know we could all benefit from recognizing and subverting these tendencies... Another common recipe for high levels of stress and anxiety is to keep repeating "I don't know" or similiar words -internally and externally! They say that one of the best ways to find our way forward is to continually and consistently bring ourselves into relaxed states of being -Reiki, meditation, mindful Yoga practices (such as Yin), fresh air and light and practicing creative pursuits. How often have you been repeating "I don't know"? Well you are going to need to bring yourself into relaxed states of being more often than you are currently doing that if you would like to a positive way forward.
