18.01.2022 I always recommend some form of corrective movement to compliment any regular massage or bodywork you have done. Yoga, pilates, calisthenics, functional training are all great! Move it or lose it! Foundation training is another and Ive used it personally for a few years with noticeable improvements in posture and pain relief. Try this exercise once a day for a month. What do you notice?

10.01.2022 I totally agree that over stretching tight sore muscles may not help and can actually make matters worse! Clinical somatics is an effective way to release tension and ease pain by changing your nervous system (Emmett Technique works in a similar way). I highly recommend as part of a self care routine along with regular Bowen/Emmett sessions :)

07.01.2022 Wow! Amazing story!

07.01.2022 Last week I saw many clients with lower back pain. Its so common and can be greatly relieved with an Emmett session. Heres a testimonial from David: I had pains in my lower back for almost three weeks. I had tried other modalities, without noticeable improvement. The pain made it difficult to sit for more than half an hour without having to get up and move. Getting up was painful. Turning in bed was also painful, keeping me awake at night. Emma told me the treatment would work slowly over the next few days. The day after my Emmett treatment, my back started to improve, and more again on the second day. By the third day I was moving freely and almost pain free. The pain remaining was greatly reduced in intensity and in distribution. I would recommend Emmett to anyone with lower back pains.
