15.01.2022 I loved observing the children make paper pizzas on Tuesday. They spent so much time cutting up these strips of cheese. As parents , you get to see the end product, but we get to watch the whole process, which is always the part where the child has learnt something and developed their skills. Perhaps next time you can ask your child how he/she has made their art.

14.01.2022 (Last Wednesday. )

13.01.2022 Jumping off the wall is the best game outside. ( Teachers give a sigh of relief when no one gets hurt! ) We know how important these risk taking games are for the children’s self esteem, large motor development, coordination and getting to know their body’s capabilities and limitations.

13.01.2022 This week we are talking about the primary colours and how to mix them together to make secondary colours. It was a fascinating exercise for the children and we heard lots of Wows and its magic painting, look!

06.01.2022 These peg boards have been so popular this week. Some of the parents have commented that their children have never played with peg boards before. They are great for hand eye coordination and fine muscle development. All really good practice for holding pens for writing later on. Learning how to place the peg in just the right hole takes concentration and good control. Very important skills to build.

05.01.2022 Photos from this week. We painted with watercolours and made bears with fat tummies, played outside and also in the home corner. The children dressed up too.

Please call Rena for enquiries 0412090868.
