24.01.2022 An interesting fact....many of my Pre-loved gowns are not actually Pre-loved at all. They are shop samples I have brought from businesses that have closed down. There may have a few minor marks and dusty hems, but they have never been altered or worn for more than a few minutes at a time. So you will still be getting a gown with its original fit.....but at a fraction of its original price. Here are 2 examples that are fresh in stock today.

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE ********************* More schools have brought their ball dates forward to February 2021. This has meant I am booked up to 2 weeks in advance making it harder to get people in. I will also be closed for 3 Saturdays in a row around Christmas. So with this in mind I will be offering extended Saturday hours in the lead up to Christmas. As always, you must book an appointment. Please arrive at your allotted time, and most importantly, please let me know asap if... you no longer need your booking, so I can offer it to someone else. The following hours will apply. 19.01.2022 I love when brides come to me with an inherited bridal gown and ask me to alter it to fit, or use the fabric and embellishments to start again. It gives such an emotional bond for the bride and makes it so much more than just a dress. So it was wonderful to see Princess Beatrice wear her grandmother The Queens gown for her wedding.

18.01.2022 Ladies do I have a treat for you!!! I have just received a huge delivery of sequin and lace ball gowns, plus a lovely range of cocktail gowns. Mainly all new designs, but also a top up of a few best sellers. This also means that a few existing designs are going to be half price from today to make room. More details and images to follow.

18.01.2022 School balls are happening again, and I am so pleased to be able to provide such a varied and exciting range of gowns for my clients. Natasha sent me these photos yesterday of her daughter Indigo with the following message: "Hey Alison - thank you so much for your help with Indigos stunning ball gown. She looked absolutely stunning and so many comments on how beautiful the gown was. We will definitely be back next time she needs a gown."

17.01.2022 Nicole sent these fantastic photos of her daughter Wanisa. With a message that all students can relate to at the moment. "Hi Alison, not sure if you remember us we were down from Karratha during the summer break and got this beautiful gown from you. Unfortunately our ball was put on hold just 2 weeks out thanks to Covid, but thankfully last night we were able to hold the event for our students. Here are a couple of pics of that stunning dress. She got so many comments on her gown. Thank you"

15.01.2022 What a perfect start to a Sunday. Monia just sent me these 3 images from her wedding, and I'm sure you will agree she looks absolutely stunning in her sage and silver gown ordered from my Wendy Ann range. A few alterations made it a perfect fit. Monia said "Loved the dress... everyone stopped me telling me how beautiful the dress is and to ask where I bought it A big thank you. If it wasn't for you, I could never have this dress."

14.01.2022 Megan had a last minute change of gown, but after a few alterations, it was totally worth it. Megan sent these lovely photos with the following message: "Hey wanted to say thanks again for all your help a few weeks ago the day was fantastic."

13.01.2022 I needed to create more floor space but also give the new gowns a better hanging position as they were getting to squashed. So I have had a bit of a major rearrange of gowns. There are now clearly defined areas for new ball, cocktail length, bridal and pre-loved gowns.

13.01.2022 Annie, like so many of my clients, wanted to look elegant for her ball, but also feel comfortable with a flattering style.....nailed it!! Annie said "Thank you for your help and support you have been amazing x." When I thanked her for the photos and her comment Annie said "Cant stop smiling thank you"

03.01.2022 Every gown deserves to fit perfectly, and I give the same attention to detail with each and every one. Whilst most gown alterations are side seams and hems, there are more in depth alterations needed on many gowns. Zip to laces, bust shapes, panels added for baby bumps, embellishments on plainer gowns, neck line changes...it goes on. Here are 3 examples of some more dramatic alterations I have done to make a gown perfect. If your bridal or ball gown isnt fitting correctly, book your free consultation so I can make it perfect.
