22.01.2022 The same goes for therapy appointments... please stay home if you or your child are unwell

22.01.2022 Wow! What a year so far! Thankyou everyone for your patience and support over the last few weeks as we grapple with enormous (thankfully temporary) challenges due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Just a reminder that I have now closed my doors for 2 weeks and I hope to be back in the office on April 20th. I will be calling all of my wonderful families after the Easter long weekend, to discuss how I can best support you during term 2. For those that have already requested activity pa...cks, please bare with me as I juggle this 'working from home' gig with my own two boys forever at my side (wouldn't have it any other way, but does result in everything taking longer). I will be in touch as soon as these are ready and will arrange for post, deliver or pickup. I will be regularly checking emails and messages so please do get in touch if there is anything I can help with. Take care of yourselves, your family, your friends and your community everyone. See the positives of slowing the pace and chilling with your family. Thank goodness for internet! Alison

15.01.2022 Hello everyone, With the outbreak and ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we feel it is important to provide resources and ideas to ensure those who ...have communication challenges also get the information they need. Our Director, Janelle, has written a blog that includes a free communication board that you can download to help with these conversations. As Janelle says in her blog about talking to kids, "Just because you are not talking to them, it doesn’t mean they are not hearing things. The power and control for them (and for all of us) is in asking questions and talking about it." Link to blog and chat board is available here: https://janellesampson.wordpress.com//talking-to-kids-abo/ Have a good weekend everyone and take care of each other, Your friends at Two Way Street.

15.01.2022 This app is free until the end of February! Looks like a great little app for learning to read

11.01.2022 In case you need 21,650 reasons to say goodbye to memorization...wow! Thx, Fran Bowman

09.01.2022 As I wind up another year before heading off on holidays, I would like to say 'Thankyou' to all of the wonderful families and friends that have been a part of a very busy, but fantastic year Thankyou for your support Thankyou for your trust Thankyou for allowing me to be a part of your village (...and thankyou for laughing at my occasionally awful jokes )... Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to yet another great year in 2020! Take care See more

02.01.2022 If you have a few minutes, this is why decodable books and explicit, sequential teaching of phonics is so important for little literacy learners...

01.01.2022 I know we are all saturated with information around COVID-19/Corona virus, but it’s just so important to work together as a community to help reduce the spread. This video is an Australian GP’s perspective, not from a politician or the media. While I am continuing speech therapy services, with extra attention to hygiene throughout BTransformed, please stay home if you or a family member are unwell, or if a family member falls in the ‘vulnerable’ category. There will be no fee, nor will you ‘lose your therapy spot’ if you need to cancel an appointment. Please don’t hesitate to contact either myself directly or the wonderful reception staff at BTransformed if you have any queries or concerns
