23.01.2022 I’ve always been passionate about the deep things that happen within a child when they are allowed to explore their imagination in nature or in role-play or in play with open-ended toys. 21.01.2022 A few months ago, on the weekend after we all filled our cupboards with toilet paper, I closed the doors of my little store and was filled with overwhelming relief. A Little Spirit gave me a much longed for connection to my local community and to a whole new online one, but as a family we weren't suited to the challenge that owning a physical store placed on us. After a recent chance meeting at the Post Office with one of my most treasured customers, I wa...s left to reconsider my feelings on the matter. Gleefully, I had spoken of the freedom of not being shackled to the store but somehow, it didn’t ring true. Yes, I needed time and space to dedicate to my family. And yes, I needed to stop buying things that don’t feel authentic to me or my beliefs, just to fill a rack. But also: Sometimes, considered items can bring value to our lives far beyond their cost. And also: I feel that I have something to offer far beyond the purveyor of stuff. So after much deliberation, I have decided to relaunch my little store as an online destination for the whole family. A destination that is kind to the planet, that genuinely makes lives better and a place that will likely, at some point, include an invitation to commune with nature, in-person at my home. 21.01.2022 My girls are obsessed with this super zesty and super easy Key Lime Mousse () - the love has been going strong for 6-7 years! I whip up a batch and serve after school for 2-3 days. It took years before they realised it was full of avocado. 2 cups of raw cashews (soaked for 30 mins). Juice of 8 limes 3 ripe avocados... 2 tsp of vanilla extract The zest of 2 limes (plus a little for garnish) cup of coconut oil add rice malt syrup or maple syrup to taste (approx 1/3rd cup) Blend all ingredients in a food processor adding sweetener at the end. Serve in individual bowls or glasses. Refrigerate for 1hr or 3 days before serving. Enjoy! xSally See more

17.01.2022 Making the most of this little set up: First, an after school snack spot before becoming a Daddy/daughter coffee date with the sunset.
