07.01.2022 The Leatherback Oval sports pavilion is progressing well! According to the City of Wanneroo, the expected date of completion is December 2020. Once complete, the building will feature a bookable community multi-purpose room, two change rooms, kiosk, first aid room, umpire room and public toilets.
07.01.2022 A number of mature trees located on Marmion Avenue were recently removed to make way for the Marmion Avenue Duplication Works. The trees were relocated to Leatherback Boulevard and were happy to report that theyre doing well in their new home! Reusing and replanting trees is just one of the initiatives that has achieved Alkimos Beach a 6 Star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
