04.01.2022 One of the parents, Ben, came in to help us deploy two cameras in the bush in the hope of photographing animal movements during the day and at night. Using food baits, and honey water mixture, they went off into the bush to a particular spot where Ben thought there may be lots of possible passing animal traffic. They placed one camera higher in the tree with the food bait on the opposite tree. The second camera they placed lower down and hammered the food bait into the ground with tent pegs. The two cameras were placed to try and catch different animals. The one higher up will hopefully find sugar gliders and possums and the one on the ground for bandicoots, wallabies and foxes.
