25.01.2022 Are you looking for an administration job with lots of variety? A mixture of talking with care recipients, their families, and staff as well as maintaining the digital records relating to care recipients and staff. We are a 40 year old family company that cares for the vulnerable elderly in our community. We have 200 staff and we are located in the southern suburbs. The position will either be part time or full time, as best suits the candidate. We are looking for a well ...presented, progressive person who likes challenges and working on shared goals, within a team environment. Essential: Excellent organisational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite / Google docs. Preferable but not essential: Experience in dealing with vulnerable people and or those exhibiting challenging behaviours. Experience in using Xero software. Experience in payroll. You will need: NDIS worker screening clearance.. (or be willing to obtain one) Full Australian working rights. A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement. Covid-19 Vaccination or be willing to receive prior to commencement. The successful candidate will be supported by our CEO and other members of the administration team in adapting to their new role. 24.01.2022 We are excited to announce that the cafe is not far away from opening. We await the new COVID-19 restrictions post the community reaching 80% vaccination. Our new market space flows into the our high end beauty salon and contemporary cafe. We are very excited to have created a space that families can enjoy with their loved ones, a place that makes it feel like a day out for those who may no longer be able to go out shopping. ... The market place provides an open space much like a shopping mall, we hold events for special occasions, theme days for events such as the Olympics, as well as shopping stalls to complete the the over all experience. 22.01.2022 COVID-19 update Here at All Care Aged Care to help reduce the chances of the virus from entering our home we have designed an outdoor meeting area where residents can safely meet with their family and friends. 17.01.2022 Great to see our families visiting their loved ones again in a purpose built environment! Thank you to all of our staff for their ingenuity and hard work, as well as the commitment of our building team from Neil Robson Construct.
14.01.2022 Today we would like to share some of the carefully considered lifestyle areas we have created in conjunction with residents that enable them to live their lives as they choose and enhance their well-being. Over the years we have co-designed spaces with residents, that residents have expressed interest in enjoying. Hence we have areas that include a gym, a home theatre, a remembrance room, a bar, a Library, a resident kitchen, a beer garden, chicken coop, tennis courts (for a...ctivities as well a family/community events), a BBQ area and smoking courtyard. New spaces estimated to be opened in March 2020 include a new café, hair and beauty salon and a market stall pavilion for residents to be able enjoy a variety of retail experiences. We endeavour to care for all the elderly in the community no matter their past experiences, beliefs or financial status. We do not ask for financial information prior to entry. We waive fees for those who can’t afford to pay. We look after vulnerable elderly who may have experienced homelessness, be experiencing severe symptoms of dementia, suffer from chronic conditions, and experiencing severe mental illness. Please note that many spaces have been photographed without residents to respect peoples’ privacy. See more
12.01.2022 With our Staffs’ permission we have released the actual footage of the plating of Christmas day lunch. Christmas Lunch was a Roast meal with strawberry pannacotta, and Christmas Bon-bons. We unreservedly acknowledge that the image of the Cheese infused mash potato and baked beans was not presented to our required standard. Please note that the evening meals in Aged Care tend to be a lighter meal to aid digestion prior to sleep. Residents every month determine what meals they ...wish to add or remove from the menu. Every meal service has multiple options. On Christmas evening after their Roast lunch residents selected from fish and chips, Sandwiches of their choosing, Caesar salad type salad bowls, and or Cheese infused mash potato and baked beans. Food service at All Care Aged Care is unlimited consisting of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and any time a resident may want more food. All food is prepared fresh onsite. In order to address the ongoing negativity related to Aged Care in the following weeks we will be sharing a series of content covering all aspects of Aged Care. 04.01.2022 No matter how challenging life is we will never forget! We honour the sacrifice of all those who have served to keep our Country safe and those who lost their lives in their service. This year we wish to also recognise the courage of all healthcare workers around the world, who risked their lives caring for the community in hospitals, paramedics, GP’s and aged care who have bravely served their communities with limited or no protective equipment. As well as honouring those who have left us too soon. Lest we forget! (Thank you Sami MacKenzie and crew for your amazing artwork on our facilities front lawn. Something special for our entire community to share)
