24.01.2022 Amazing times ahead! We have all had our struggles, that is called Life and welcome to being a human being. We have connected in ways we didn’t think was possible, we learnt more about ourselves and others around us. We have cherished the moments we have had, blossomed and appreciated the time that will now be behind us, a story book and a time in our lives that will not be forgotten. All the things you learnt during 2020, including the times you were grateful, practicing an act of kindness, respect of yourself and others, feeling accomplished, networking, resilience, adapting to change, taking time for YOU continue to do these things! 19.01.2022 . This is Sarah and her journey! ~April 2019-NOW~ My biggest challenge has been mentally. Allowing other peoples judgement overpower the person I am and the person I could be. An influential person once said to me 'opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got one!' One thing I continue to think is, we as humans are our own worst critic! For many years I had tried different diets which never seemed to work. I never enjoyed exercise, I'd go for walks but that was about all. The...n at the start of 2019 I was at the heaviest id ever been and it was as though a light bulb went off in my head. It was then that I decided that I was going to make a change. I wanted to be healthy, loose weight and be able to enjoy and experience life and enjoy exercise. For me it was an all round change! I watch what I eat, I don't just take the easy way out and have takeaway or the easily cooked foods. I do PT atleast 3 times a weak and walk most other days. I join in challenges, fun runs, charity walks. I finally ENJOY exercise, not just for the fitness but also mentally! I feel like a totally different person both inside and out! Yes you can see the changes on the outside but I've also grown in confidence, determination and I am no longer as concerned as to what others think of me. I am who I am and I'm living life the way I want. 07.01.2022 Crumbled gluten free breast with rocket, spinach, lemon and a tartae sauce - many people know that I am celiac, which back when I was diagnosed was super hard to find food that actually tasted half decent, it wasn’t as popular and heard of as it is now! I am so thankful for all this delicious food that has come out over the years and been made available to people like me.

My biggest challenge has been my belief in myself, to continue to push past the threshold of giving up I decided to make a lifestyle change because Post having my WLS (weight loss surgery) I didn’t want to have the common side effect of baggy skin, Tara has been working with me to keep my muscles strengthened and to help tighten up my skin. The biggest challenge is mentality. My mind plays tricks and wants me to give up, but I’m ...learning to fight it at every day. I went into training with Tara, not being able to squat, kneel and having trouble weight-baring at times with my knees due to a previous injury. Since then I can do all that and more I have so much more energy now, I can run, exercise for longer, and play with my child more.My biggest achievement has been squats which was a huge achievement and overall fitness.
