24.01.2022 Today my little people are learning colours through painting. We have used recycled drinking bottle lids and a recycled ice block tray, filled will different coloured paints. The outcome was with the children saying "lots of different coloured bubbles and circles everywhere"

21.01.2022 Celebratiing NAIDOC WEEK the children have made the Aboriginal Flag. The colours in the flag each represent a true meaning Black-Aboriginal people of Australia Red-Earth, the red ochre and a spiritual relation to the land Yellow-Sun, the giver of life and protector We made beautiful necklaces out of gumnut leaves and coloured pasta shells and later some spot painting on Aboriginal pictures. Again uses the colours black, red and yellow. We have had a busy and learning experience this morning.

06.01.2022 I recently created this new program board for my parents to view, which explains about our 5 learning outcomes, our national quality standards and their quality areas, the 5 principles, the 8 practices and of course the childrens learning experiences during the week on what they have done and what did they learn from that experience. Parents really appreciate it and make an effort to view and read their children's learning experiences.

One special little person who comes to me,who is Russian,her mummy mentioned to me that its a very important day in Russia and they have a public holiday to celebrate. I received this wonderful gift this morning from them. Thankyou for making me feel special xx

04.01.2022 Today we made beaded sticks to help us in recognition of counting 1 to 10 We used some recycled plastic sticks from an old game we don't play anymore, some plastic beads and got these great wall plugs from bunnings. Once you place the plugs they should stay on the stick permanently.
