25.01.2022 It's getting very close now. I hope you are all listing your intentions to see 'Allentown' within your ward. Just wondering whether many of you have invited a friend or someone who maybe a bit alone out there? Busy morning 5.45am start ...7.30 am to pick up this lot. 9.15am at Stake Centre. Thanks Gary Carmichael for helping Denis Page screw set together. A big thank you to Huon Valley Theatre for some of our set.

19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has RSVP'd so far for the show! We can't wait to see you there. A note about the performances: The main show will be Friday 18th October, starting at 7:00pm sharp, with ushered seating open at least by 6:30pm. We strongly request that you arrive early so that we can get you seated in time for the show. Note that as it is not allocated seating, first in will be best dressed when it comes to getting the good seats. Also please note that unfortunately a...n RSVP for the show will NOT secure you a seat, though it will assist us in knowing what our audience turnout will be. Theatre etiquette will also apply to this show, in that the doors will be closed at show start, and remain closed until interval. We will have some special guests from the community in attendance, so some seats will be reserved. There will also be no throwing of jaffas (unless you can reliably catch them in your mouth). THURSDAY 17TH PREVIEW: In order to combat the overflow we have experienced in previous shows on the Friday night, we are also opening up the previous Thursday evening 17th October at 7:00pm as a public preview, free for anyone to attend. This will technically be a full dress rehearsal, so the show may stop, or things may be adjusted, or go wrong, or what have you, so please be aware of this. However, all are welcome to attend, including families with young children who might not otherwise be able to deal with "theatre etiquette" of the Friday night. If we find that the Friday show is going to be very full, you may be requested to attend on Thursday night if at all possible. So, all welcome, but we do encourage you to come along to the Thursday night if you want to see the show, and the more relaxed format would suit you. Let me know if you have any questions!
