25.01.2022 Came to this property and client wanted a larger grass area, retaining walls with path, merbau decking stairs to entrance . This job is not finished and are progress shots todate and will keep you posted.

24.01.2022 A simple charcoal 400mm x 400mm concrete paver can be made to look fancy by giving a consistent spacing of 145mm . The gap between pavers will be getting filled with mini mondo grass and then will look a million bucks!! The pro tip is to mortor down pavers with brickies sand/cement and ensure all pavers are level to each to get that flat finish which makes the job.

23.01.2022 Gardens can look awesome once everything is pruned, cleaned up and finished off with Cypress Pine mulch which not only controls the weeds which reduces maintenance but helps keep the moisture in the ground especially in hot weather. A beautiful garden can be enjoyed,a relaxing place to sit down after a long stressful week!!

19.01.2022 Finally the Gate job finished!! This property is now 100% dog proof and we have cosmetically made the house look better. We have used treated pine decking board to keep the cost down and the client will be staining the timber which gives it greater protection.

14.01.2022 A day of hedging at the Australian Native Landscapes Garden centre st Terry Hills. A well cut hedge makes such a difference!

14.01.2022 Turf preparation with 80/20 (sand/soil) as base with top layer organic turf underlay which has 40% organic soil (nutrients) for grass. This job had 24 tonne 80/20 soil and 3 tonne underlay!! Big job and all by hand as no machine access. The garden edge is bush granite rock which just finishes everything off nicely. The Sir Walter Buffalo lawn goes in tomorrow and will post tomorrow.

10.01.2022 Preparation for artificial grass is compacted road base with a layer of river sand on top. The process is very similar to paving which is essential to get a great long term result.

09.01.2022 Clients wanted a fence which did not disturb beautiful bush views of valleys but needed fencing for safety because of cliffs so we choose a Chain wire fence which blended in well.

09.01.2022 The Gate and Screening job!! Client wanted old lattice screen removed and replaced with horizontal treated pine decking board which has brightened , modernised the area. The gates - challenging building when using old fence posts that are not plum!! Turned out well as is almost dog proof accept for 3 more gates next week!!

03.01.2022 Client needed a concrete slab for garden shed 2.3x2.3m using 25mpa concrete with Sl72 mesh. Not going anywhere!! A big thank you to Chris at Ark N Sparks for bringing in extra muscle as I was down a man. 03.01.2022 Lap and Cap fencing!! This fence was built to pass pool compliance.

02.01.2022 This was a garden in great need of a garden edge!! We put in this block edge which enables curves which gives more interest to the garden and now stage 2 which will be more plants in the garden, improve the soil structure and add in a nice mulch which will hold in the moisture especially with a hot summer coming!! A thank you to the Amber team at Hornsby for always supplying such awesome products!!

01.01.2022 Sir walter Buffalo turf went in today and perfect timing with the rain!! This job will be completed by Tuesday and after 4 weeks almost there!!
