25.01.2022 An easy sequence to follow to ensure you’re washing all surfaces of your hands

23.01.2022 To our valued patients and community. We hope all of you, your families and friends are well during these challenging times. We are happy to advise that as of Sunday 10th May 2020, the Government and the Dental Board of Australia have downgraded restrictions on dentistry to Level 1. ... The means that there are no longer any restrictions placed on the type of dental services that we can provide. However, patients who show symptoms of COVID-19, those who have been diagnosed with it, or those who been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 will need to have their dental treatment deferred. Please be assured that all of our extra levels of infection control and precautious will remain in place to protect our staff, patients and our wider community. Our friendly team at Alliance Dental are available to take appointments and to also answer any questions you may have. Our team will also be in touch with those of you that we had to cancel appointments for due to previous restrictions. We look forward to seeing you all in the near future. From the team at Alliance Dental Group

21.01.2022 To our valued patients and their families, We kindly ask that if you are feeling unwell to please reschedule your appointments until you are feeling well again. That way we can ensure the health and well-being of our staff and our wider community. (Hand washing is your best friend!)... We thank you in advance for your cooperation

18.01.2022 An excellent example of how much sugar is in common lunch box drinks. As mentioned in the post below, some of these drinks contain a child’s entire recommended daily intake of sugar! Some tips to help prevent cavities: ... 1. Water is best 2. Sugary drinks are a sometimes drink not every day 3. It is best to consume the drink with a meal 4. Avoid sipping on sugary drinks and try to have the drink all in one sitting 5. Have a nice big glass of water after any sugary foods or drinks to help wash away the sugars from the teeth

13.01.2022 All of our surgeries are back open and running as normal! Why not take advantage of the last couple of weeks of the school holidays to get the kids teeth checked just in time for the start of the school term? We accept CDBS and have HICAPS facilities available

12.01.2022 To our valued patients, I hope all of you, your families and friends are well during these challenging and uncertain times. As the government moves to implement stage 3 restrictions in dentistry to help control the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been additional restrictions put in place with respect to what dental services can be provided.... These restrictions mean that all routine and non-urgent dental care will need to be deferred until we are advised otherwise by the Australian Government and Australian Dental Association. Our team at Alliance Dental want to ensure the health and safety of all our patients, staff and community during this period. We will still be available to support any emergency dental needs or answer any questions you may have. Rest assured that in addition to our already stringent infection control measures, we have also introduced extra layers of precaution to help minimize any potential spread of COVID-19. This includes disinfecting of all surfaces in between patients, hand sanitizing on entry and exit from the clinic, removal of all magazines and toys in the waiting room, and strict adherence to the 2m x 2m social distancing rule, mouth rinses and additional protective equipment for dentists and staff. Should you have any questions or concerns related to you dental appointments or services during this time, please contact our friendly team at Alliance Dental who will be able to help. Thank you all for your ongoing support and please keep safe. We look forward to things returning to normal, hopefully in the very near future. From Jennifer and the Team at Alliance Dental Group.

12.01.2022 To all our valued patients, As the situation with the COVID-19 Coronavirus continues to evolve we would like to ask for your understanding as there may be some minor inconveniences as we undertake additional precautions. We are committed to your safety and will continue with our standard protocols with regards to infection control but we also have in place additional measures and a response plan and policy as issued from the Australian Dental Association.... Otherwise we will continue to assist all our patients through these challenging times. The team at Alliance Dental

04.01.2022 Hi everyone! With the current restrictions for COVID-19 enforced we are only seeing dental emergencies. The BEST advice we can give you is to focus on prevention! ... Eat well, drink water and clean well. We still need to eat a healthy and balanced diet We still need to brush our teeth twice a day and to make sure we are flossing Drink plenty of water We will always recommend brushing, spitting the toothpaste out and not rinsing. Let some of that toothpaste stay on your teeth. It’ll give you fresher breath for longer and allow the fluoride to protect and strengthen the enamel

03.01.2022 ATTENTION: We have decided to close our doors of the Myrtleford surgery for the remainder of the week due to the persistent bushfire threat and the unfavourable weather forecast predicted for the coming days. We value the safety of our patients and our staff above all else. Many from the Myrtleford township and surrounding areas have evacuated and it has been recommended to avoid travelling to the area if possible. We plan on re-opening on Tuesday the 14th of January.... All appointments have been rescheduled. If you haven’t heard from us and have an appointment please contact us. Stay safe everyone!
