25.01.2022 NEW LISTING WW1 group impressed to R-9557 PTE. E.F. GREEN K.R.RIF:C. This trio was awarded to Edward Francis GREEN who served in the King’s Royal Rifle Corp, 3rd Battalion.... Edward served in France during the war and died of Malaria on the 21st of November 1916, aged 27 years old. Medals come with research. 11.01.2022 WW1 pair impressed to 3-9254 PTE J ALTHORPE 2/NORTH N.R This pair was awarded to Private Jack ALTHORPE who served in the 2nd Northumberland Regiment and the Norfolk Regiment. Jack enlisted into the army on the 24th of June 1911 and saw combat at the beginning of the war in either France or Belgium.... His 1914 star is complete with a 3rd Aug 22nd Nov 1914 clasp making this a very desirable pair. I have conducted some research into Jack and the medals will come with what I found. Jack was awarded the Silver War Badge and records indicate he was discharged on the 28th of June 1916. His Silver War Badge number was 62386.
