25.01.2022 God is always speaking through his Word. Are we listening? We listen to those we value, and take their advice. It makes no sense to say we put God first and then not read his Word, and not change our lives in response to it.

25.01.2022 When we think of Solomon's golden kingdom, should we be envious? Judgemental? Worried? Think about this with the lastest blog post here.

25.01.2022 When you get a Christian community spending time together, it is a joy to see service spring up. It is a foretaste of the joy we will have spending time together in the new creation.

25.01.2022 Our church usually holds a worship service in the city every Sunday at 10am. This Sunday, however, we will not have a service in the city; it will be at Camp Wattle Grove instead. It will start at 1030am instead of 10 to give you time to get there. Don't come to the city this Sunday, or you will be disappointed!

25.01.2022 Going to a church service sometimes feels like a duty or a hardship. We need to remember what a privilege it is to worship the God who loves us and has paid the price so we can be his children. Here is the link to this week's service, if you haven't seen it yet.

24.01.2022 Although we live in a world full of pain and suffering, we know God is perfect and in control. No evil can stop God's plans coming about. In some way we cannot fully understand, it all makes sense.

24.01.2022 Do you strive to be more gentle? You should, if you want to be more like Jesus. Latest blog post.

24.01.2022 Have you heard? Our English classes are restarting tomorrow! On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 1-330pm, we run free English classes with a Bible lesson. All are welcome. We do need to record names and numbers of all who come and practice the right distancing and hygiene, but we are glad to once again offer this important service to our community.

23.01.2022 The ancient people of God worshipped golden calves. Surely we are past that kind of thing now...right? Maybe not. Latest blog post.

23.01.2022 We are worse than we think we are, but better than we could be due to God's grace. God knows how deep our sin is and has paid the cost to fix what we could not fix.

22.01.2022 Our church values membership, and we welcomed five new members last Sunday. This blog post explains what membership is and why it is helpful for our church family.

20.01.2022 If you are organised, and it only benefits you, how is that different to those who are not Christian? Think bigger. Latest blog post.

20.01.2022 Jesus encouraged his disciples to pray to our Father in Heaven, yet many pray mainly to Jesus. Does this matter? Latest blog post.

19.01.2022 Solomon, David, Abraham, Jacob and others in the Old Testament had more than one wife. Yet the Bible is clear that marriage is between one man and one woman. How should we think about this? Latest blog post.

19.01.2022 We shouldn't expect to just wake up one day and be more godly. Training for godliness requires effort and consistency and intentional action. Latest blog post.

19.01.2022 Church elders pray and act in ways most don't see, but if they do their job well they are a great blessing to a church. Latest blog post.

18.01.2022 The word of God is powerful and contains what we need to grow. Even the best soil won't grow anything without the seed. Matthew 13.

18.01.2022 The word "grace" is heard quite differently by Protestants and Roman Catholics. We need to understand this if we are to be able to have a productive conversation about grace with someone who grew up in the Roman Catholic church. Latest blog post.

17.01.2022 Our church buildings are not God's house, or a temple. They are not the focus of God's work in the world. Let's not get confused...latest blog post.

17.01.2022 "Follow your heart" is terrible advice. Your heart is so often selfish and sinful and will lead you to selfish and sinful places. "Follow the true God" is far better advice to live your life by.

15.01.2022 Following Jesus is more than just learning things once. We need to grow in our understanding and life, which means training, not just sitting still. Whatever you know now, however you live now, you can become more like Jesus.

14.01.2022 Actions have consequences. And sometimes we cannot fix our past sinful actions and what they led to. Not all is lost; there is still hope. Latest blog post.

13.01.2022 Whether your physical family is a great joy or a great burden, trusting Jesus means you are in the family of God. You have many brothers and sisters who love you and you have a place you really belong. The local church should not simply be a place to receive a service, but it is a family you are glad to be a part of.

12.01.2022 1 and 2 Kings describes the search for a good king. When we look to earthly kings and rulers for salvation and leadership, we end up disappointed. Some are terrible (like Rehoboam) and some are just not good enough (like Asa). All of this makes us long for the true King Jesus who can save where no-one else is capable.

12.01.2022 Martin Luther, William Farel, and John Knox were dominating, intimidating people. They had obvious flaws. Yet God used them for his glory. He can even use you. Latest blog post.

12.01.2022 Church is on again this Sunday; come and worship God with others. We encourage hand washing and we space chairs to help with social distancing, and ask people to stay home if they are unwell. But if you can come, we'd love to see you there.

11.01.2022 In a unanimous vote, the congregation of All Nations have called Tim to serve among us as a pastor. God has been very kind, once again, to provide for his people. We look forward to ordaining Tim and installing him as a pastor in a few weeks' time.

11.01.2022 Jesus is described as being so gentle with people that he wouldn't break a bent reed or snuff out a smouldering wick (Matt 12, Is 42). Whoever you are, whatever you have done, whatever trouble you're in, you are not too insignificant for Jesus to care for and save.

11.01.2022 Our Sunday worship service is back on this Sunday! The short video below explains our new normal. We would love to see you at 10am on Sunday.

09.01.2022 Church should be like a family, as we read often in the New Testament. That can be complicated like families are complicated, but the blessing can also be profound. Latest blog post.

09.01.2022 Church or Bible study attendance shouldn't be based on whether there is a better offer. Consistency is not only important for your faith and that of others, but it reveals a lot about your heart. Latest blog post.

09.01.2022 Being apart from people feels weird. There's a good reason for that. This short video aims to explain it in around 3 minutes.

08.01.2022 Jesus is the true King. All who serve him, whatever the cost, look forward to joining in the feast at the King's table. All who serve themselves instead will only face the King's justice. This is a big message of 1 Kings 2; if you haven't seen it, that's the sermon text from today's online service.

07.01.2022 Being fine with God at the final judgement is not about being in the right family or doing the right things. It is all about turning from trusting yourself to trusting in Jesus.

07.01.2022 No-one starts with the big, career or marriage ending sin. It starts smaller than that, little decisions, a trajectory over time. Stop early. Don't explain it away. Stop while you can. (1 Kings 11)

06.01.2022 It's quite normal to feel tired, especially now. Make sure this drives you to Jesus and not just to frustration. Latest blog post.

05.01.2022 Ephesians reminds us that God's grace changes everything. It brings people from death to life. It transforms the way we see relationships and work. And it leads us to praise and thanks.

04.01.2022 The church is not a comfortable social club for insiders; we must be keen to share the hope we have with others.

03.01.2022 Believing the Bible is true is not anti-scientific. There are good reasons to believe that Christianity is true. The Bible encourages us to ask questions, to think about the world and what people are like, and to conclude that God is real and Jesus is God.

03.01.2022 We all want to make better decisions. Looking to God for wisdom will help us do that, while understanding that true wisdom is found ultimately in Jesus. You can find the latest online serve for All Nations below, if you didn't watch it yesterday.

03.01.2022 The beautiful, intricate temple that Solomon built shows us the importance of God's presence among his people. For all that, it is a shadow of what we have in Jesus. The latest online sermon is available if you haven't seen it.

03.01.2022 Online church has a lot going for it, but we shouldn't be keen to hold onto it when the real thing is on offer. Latest blog post.

02.01.2022 Being part of the church is better than being part of Solomon's kingdom, as good as it was. We are part of a multi-ethnic people, who serve a perfect (not just a good) king, who have peace with God and not just other nations. The church is a gift to us beyond measure.

02.01.2022 How do you know if you are really right with God? We can't ever be sure if we look to ourselves and our faith and our works. We need to look to God, to his promises, his work for us in Jesus, and his application of that to us in the Holy Spirit. It's all to do with God and his grace and not what we do.

02.01.2022 You don't need to be good enough for God. You can't be. Latest blog post.

01.01.2022 You cannot fool God. He knows what you are doing. Even if no-one else can see. That's not a threat but an encouragement; don't hide your sin from God, but tell him. He loves to forgive those who ask for forgiveness.
