21.01.2022 The experiences spoken about in this video really highlight why we decided to create AllOut! There are gaps in the west when it comes to supporting LGBTQIA+ people -especially young people. Like it was stated, so many from our community tend to grow up and move to the city just to find the support that they should have been receiving in their local community. AllOut! And spaces like it, are about closing that gap and making sure that young people in western Sydney feel connected to community, loved and cared for

08.01.2022 Remembering all those lost today and every other day

07.01.2022 Round 2 of the 'Protect Trans Kids' rally is coming up this Saturday. This is a really excellent opportunity for the community to come together and express the importance of protecting trans rights for students and teachers (and extending that to the broader trans community). Schools aren't just about learning academics, they are also a space where kids and young people are able to learn and explore their identity and discover who they are. If this bill comes into action, that opportunity is outright denied. The safety of tans and gender diverse students and teachers is at risk. We meed to show this government that we don't support this and we never will. We want to bill thrown out and never spoken about or discussed on the floor of parliament.

06.01.2022 Today the 20th of November is Transgender Day of Remembrance. On this day we recognise and honour all those who have lost their lives due to acts of anti-trans violence. 350 trans and gender diverse people have lost their lives over the past year globally. We as a society need to commit to countering these devastating crimes. Our trans friends and family are beautiful, courageous and resilient people, who for years have paved the way for the queer community. It is our turn,... and societies turn to return the favour and to show the world that this will never be okay. We demand change. We demand the protection of our trans community and their right to live full, safe and happy lives. #TDOR2020 https://youtu.be/SKUzv08QGjU

05.01.2022 This is more than just a pride range. This right here is a big brand actually taking the time to produce educational and socially aware content. Levi’s takes the extra step towards understanding the queer community and recognising that life and personal expression isn’t as binary as we have all been forced to believe. If you follow over onto their website and read more into this project, you’ll see that they have created some quite useful resources for understanding pronouns... and how to use them in particular situations and what to do if you make a mistake. This is a well known brand recognising that they have the ability to educate people with the platform that they possess. Honestly, good job Levi’s

04.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week (nov. 8th- nov. 15th). The themes for this year is ‘Always Was Always Will Be’. This presents a really great opportunity for all Australians to reflect and to remember that this land will always belong to First Nations People past, present and emerging. No matter what land you reside upon, please use this week (and every other week) to learn about and celebrate the oldest cultures in the world. Here at AllOut! Blacktown we would like to recognise and... pay our respects to the Darug Nation as the traditional owners and custodians of the land of which we live, work and gather upon. We would like to pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging and extend that to any First Nations people within our AllOut! Collective. This land was stolen, always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land. Sovereignty was never ceded and First Nations communities remain greatly committed to strengthening the connection to land, water, sky, people and culture today. See more
