09.01.2022 PLEASE READ AND BE AWARE! We cant be silent any longer!!!! We continually see people in our town being provided a service by unqualified, so called tradesman, that feel solar is simply, throwing up some solar panels on a roof and calling it renewable energy. Us hardworking, well educated electricians and accredited solar specialists have had enough!!!!! We have met several members of our community, many elderly, who have been taken for a ride or have lost thousands and rece...ived a system that needs to be fixed, replaced or provides no renewable energy benefit at all. Great marketing doesnt mean they are legimate or not using someones elses licence. Local doesn't mean qualified either! Here is how you can save yourself from these people; When you meet with someone from a solar company and in order to have your system designed by an accredited solar designer, make sure the person you meet can provide the following; - An Electrical Licence (all sparkys carry one in their wallet) - An accredited Clean Energy Council Licence with THEIR PHOTO ID and name (also in their wallet). We were fully self sufficient as our solar array was producing 11.2 kW, allowing us to charge our Tesla Powerwall, sending 3.7kW back to the grid and earning credits from our electricity supply company AND powering the entire building.
