25.01.2022 Doing Church creatively.

23.01.2022 It was a privilege to pray together with our friends from Temple David, Islamic Council of WA, Perth Hindu Temple and our Christian brothers and sisters as we lifted up the concerns of our world during this Covid-19 pandemic. Well done Julia Heavens for inspiring this service.

23.01.2022 We know this year you can't go far...but that doesn't mean your career can't. Take your career to the next level this year with an Australian Institute of Busi...ness online MBA. Now is the perfect time to start chipping away at your MBA, one subject at a time (or two if you want!). We are the experts in online education we've been delivering it for over a decade. It's one of the reasons why more Australians choose to study their online MBA with us than any other provider.* You don't need a formal degree to do an MBA with us. All you need is: 5 years of full-time work experience which includes at least 3 years of management experience or significant technical experience a desire to upgrade your life, career or business . *Source: 2018 Higher Education Statistics, Australian Department of Education (provided December 2019)

17.01.2022 Thanks to our Men4Jesus group for taking God's love to the folk at St Barts' on Saturday and cooking them a sausage in bun, they were delicious! Thanks Chaplain Ross Jones and the crew for inviting us again to host a Remembrance service, as we took time to reflect on the many men, women and children who have given and had their lives taken in the theatres of war. Thanks Edward, Paul and Gary from M4J

15.01.2022 A crack in the Earth's magnetic field over the weekend (not uncommon around the Equinox) allowed the Solar Wind to pour in over Norway. The result? A fantastic ...display of the Northern Lights, that look like it's almost flowing to the ground! Very cool. (spaceweather.com) This image is from Greenlander Tromsø . Check them out...great stuff! 15.01.2022 This is a very interesting interview of Kristin Kobes Du Mez latest book, "Jesus and John Wayne: How White Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith and Fractured a Nation" If you have ever been puzzled by the white evangelical Christian lobby's support for the Trump regime, this interview certainly sheds light on the phenomenon.

10.01.2022 As we begin this week remembering all the saints who have gone before us, who have faithfully walked in Jesus's footsteps as they sought to bring his kingdom of peace, justice and love to our world, may we pray with our brothers and sisters in the USA as they cast their ballots for what is being described as one of the most important elections in many decades. Holy One, keep reminding us to love as Jesus did, especially in times of uncertainty. With gratitude, we lift our voi...ces through our votes this election season. We pray for those whom we vote to elect and ask you to guide them to serve with compassion for all people. Help us to see where you are leading us and follow on your path of love. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Fr. Richard Rohr's reflection for this week is a timely reminder that Jesus did not call us to a private faith that is disconnected from the political structures of our time, since these are the systems that need to be transformed. 09.01.2022 What a spectacular example of God’s creation, and to my surprise it was taken near my home town!

08.01.2022 NAIDOC week. We are thankful for our indigenous brothers and sisters who use their creative gifts to teach us about their rich cultural heritage. In particular I want to thank James Cross whose art is below and Direrctor of the Wadumbah Dance Group, James Webb. You are great inspirations to your people and all Australians.
