16.01.2022 All Steamed up Festival Mannum, South Australia 21st & 22nd Nov 2020... It has been decided not to go ahead with the All Steamed Up Festival this year due to COVID-19. A very disappointing decision but with the involvement of across the border boats, engines, blacksmiths and visitors, branding nationally, COVID-19 manageability which is ever changing, it is not feasible to present this event in this current climate. At this stage and subject to future COVID-19 restrictions, the Marion cruises will still go ahead as well the Mayflower over the scheduled weekend of 21/22 November 2020. The SA Artist Blacksmith's Association will participate on the scheduled weekend therefore, there will be an event 'Blacksmith, Steam, and Cruise Weekend'. We hope to reschedule the All Steamed Up Festival in 2021 and will advise as soon as a potential new date is set. Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you in November.

08.01.2022 STEAM WEEKEND - POSTPONEMENT - 21-22 NOVEMBER 2020 We regret to announce that the Blacksmith, Steam and Cruise Weekend planned for 21-22 November has been postponed. Our priority is to ensure that families and visitors can enjoy a fun and safe day out. With the latest outbreak of Covid-19, and new SA Government restrictions, we’ve decided to delay the event until early next year, so stay tuned for a new date to be announced soon.

02.01.2022 Break-in STOLEN FROM MANNUM DOCK MUSEUM... They stole a lot of brass items that were donated to the Mannum Dock Museum. List of what was stolen: 3 bladed boat propeller, solid brass Prop shaft, solid brass... 6 large portholes, solid brass Large valves and various brass fittings As well as various tools and the inevitable jerry can with fuel. It’s not so much the value of the items that is the worst part it is the fact that we will never be able to get these parts again as they are from a 1940s Navy vessel, to machine and reengineer the parts will take an excessive amount of time and effort and would never be the same as the original. We ask everyone to keep their eyes and ears open as you never know what you may see or hear. You may look through Gumtree or the Buy, Swap and Sell pages and notice something or one of these items for sale. We realise that we may never get these valuable parts back and that they will likely be cut up to be unrecognisable to be sold, regardless a part of history is gone. Therefore, we encourage everyone to be on the lookout.

01.01.2022 Blacksmith, Steam & Cruise Weekend, rich river history comes to life at Mannum. Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 November 2020, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Step back in time and enjoy the romance of steam on the Murray River and be amazed at the blacksmithing talents taking us back to the days of old!
