14.01.2022 Yay, it's November! It is the time to plant tomatoes, chillies, capsicums, eggplants, corn, potatoes, zucchini, pumpkins, melons, cucumbers, squashes. It is also time to get in leafy greens - lettuces, Asian cabbages, kale, silverbeet and mustard. Time for rooting crops - carrots, parsnips and beetroot, and those fragrant, rewarding herbs - basil, thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano, and chives. Created for Melbournians... who might be struggling with the current lockdown or those simply seeking a mindful exercise, the new Marine Mindfulness webpage aims to encourage relaxation and help promote a sense of calm. According to multiple studies including a 2019 study published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health[1] observing live fish in an aquarium decreases anxiety, enhances relaxation and improves ones mood.
