20.01.2022 Lip balm to the rescue! - NEVER USE CARMEX, PAW PAW, OR BLISTEX AGAIN They all contain BEESWAX which is a moisture barrier. It starves skin of moisture, which is why we feel a huge change when we change to LipSense from previous products. Think of what wax does on a car. You’re just layering that wax over and over again, and the water just rolls right off. It's not easily completely wiped off and it still has the moisture barrier properties as its detriment. So it's very ...diffcult to completely remove this wax on a daily basis. Basically, you most likely have layers and layers of built up wax you don’t even realise you have! This lack of moisture will also change the structure of the outermost epithelial layer, causing more rapid shedding of the stratum corneal.
