25.01.2022 The team at Aløft just want to say thank you to our new guests, regular guest and extended family that have welcomed us back this week. If it wasn’t for the amazing support you have shown us over the last week, we wouldn’t be possible - now is no better time to support our local businesses, because if it wasn’t for you or us none of it would be possible. We’re excited to see where the journey takes us, and to watch Hobart and Tasmania really join together to support each other. See you guys next week from Thursday - Saturday!

09.01.2022 Meet the stunning face of Mewstone Wines, Jonny Hughes, who will be slinging booze at Aløft on NYE. Brother duo Matthew and Jonny established Mewstone Wines in Flowerpot in 2011. Jonny is the winemaker the winemaker of this family venture, having studied in New Zealand and worked in regions like Langhorne Creek, Central Otago, Mornington Peninsula, Barolo, the Hunter Valley, and Okanagan Valley. The Mewstone Wines are expressive of the vineyard itself, whereas their more re...cent Hughes&Hughes range focuses more on the winemaking. This extension of their label allows Jonny to have some fun with small batches of quality grapes from other local vineyards, and bring together techniques that he has encountered from his travels. Head to our website to book tickets to our NYE event, and lock in the opportunity to enjoy a 6 course menu with matched beverages from these legends. Jonny will also be hanging out at Aloft Bar from 10pm, pouring an extensive list of wines from both ranges. See you there!

Tickets are $250pp, which includes 6 courses with matched beverages, a view of the fireworks at 9pm. Thereafter, our second event for the evening 'Aløft Bar' will be kicking off from around 10pm onwards, with the drinks flowing, beats pumping and the snacks rolling into the new year....
