Starting these school holidays, we are offering our visitors the opportunity to meet some of our furry friends, who are a bit hungry at the moment because of how dry it’s been . Heat bags are often used now instead of hot water bottles and if carefully wrapped are great for small ones in a pram if they have to put during winter. I am so pleased with the lupin seed instead of wheat. - Tere

14.01.2022 Yesterday had a big day bottling lavender lollies to keep the stock level up. The lollies have sherbet in them which is a wonderful accent to the lavender. The crushed lollies are wonderful with ice cream. We had the little chips leftover on our ice cream last night. - Tere

12.01.2022 The first public feeding of our cattle went well this morning! No32 took a pat and Blacky was poking his head pretty much right through the fence!! Thank you to those who took part, unfortunately I didn’t take any photos but hopefully they’ll post some!!! Please let us know if your group wants to take part in this experience..!... **Please note that any funds received from this go directly into the feed account to buy more fodder for these friendly bovines!!

11.01.2022 Thank you all of those who opened our page. Because we cannot open at this time we still want to supply lavender products to our customers. However the time we have at our disposal is great fun to make more products for the shelves and to use the time to produce new products from the dreaded sewing room contents. Today was wooden base with a pin cushion on top. Photos to follow. We are selling a lot of Hydrosol - which is reputed to be hospital grade disinfectant. Certainly... good as a hand sanitiser. We are also waiting for a shipment of hand sanitiser- so hard to source! Hope all of our friends are safe and well. Looking forward to the day when we can reopen and I will be pleased to start making those dreaded scones again and chatting with our lovely customers. When alleles fails there is always knitting for Snowflakes. However, there are so many patterns and so little time, I believe I have at least 5 half started small projects on various pieces of furniture in this room! Please share ideas for knitting or sewing - don’t bother with cooking - too messy! The thing about knitting is it can lie around for days or weeks and does not go rotten and does not put on weight! 02.01.2022 Not 100 - but 99 bottles of Linen Spray. It is actually hydrosol which is the bye product of the distillation of lavender. It is sterile and contains a large amount of tiny bubbles of essential lavender oil which makes it a wonderful cleanser as a number of other uses. The bubbles are so small they cannot overcome the surface tension to make larger bubbles that can rise to the surface and seperate into oil and water. Hydrosol has been known as lavender water or floral water and been used for centuries for healing and cleaning. We also sell it in litre bottles.
