25.01.2022 Congratulations to @alwill2214 who destroyed at the competition on the weekend! Alistair was in the ultra heavyweight division which has no upper limit! It was a great sight to see him go toe to toe with 120kg + mutants! Al picked up silver in a very solid performance for his first competition! Good job unit!

23.01.2022 After only receiving his yellow belt a month ago, @max_hayes_antcliffe jumped in to compete over the weekend. Due to low numbers in his division he was moved up a rank to the orange belt division. Despite moving up the rankings Max managed to get two wins and take away gold in the higher ranked division! Absolutelt stellar effort from this talented and hard working youngster. Keep pushing legend!

16.01.2022 New rules at Alpha MMA...if you want a blue belt you have to become the number ranked fighter in your division It was a pleasure to reward Ken Kenny Viliamu with his blue belt this morning on his 29th birthday! Everybody knows Kenny is one of the most talented and hard working fighters you'll ever see and is currently an undefeated MMA prospect. He is one of the toughest rolls in the whole gym and gives brown and black belts nightmares. The sky is truly the limit for Ken.... In a nice touch Kennys wearing the belt that first belonged to coach Ben who received it over 10 years ago, before going to coach @sigh_91 and now moving to its new home at the Viliamu residence. 13.01.2022 Legendary member @therealhoyoung is studying media production at uni and came into sparring on Saturday to put some cool footage together.. I think he did a great job showing that Alpha MMA spars safely and intelligently with all levels and backgrounds working together to improve, while all having a good chin wag as mates afterwards. 10.01.2022 Awesome day out with the squad at the Australian BJJ Open in Byron Bay. Every single member came home with a medal and some even bagged two! Great effort from everybody travelling 6 hours away to compete. We will do individual posts for all the superstars once we have the footage and photos together!

Sommer won both her weight class and the open weight division and none of the matches were even close! Great job weapon! She backs it up this weekend in Sydney so we're looking for more of the same. 02.01.2022 Felt good to give out some overdue ranks this morning. After approval from Jamie was very happy to upgrade Jessie Date Lincoln Grant Tye Ansell to blue belt. All three boys have trained with us for a long time and show excellent skills on the mat. Well done!
