22.01.2022 [Alternative Sake Tips] Hakutsuru Sayori 'little lily' has easily won 'the favourite sake' award based on our customers' feedback. This coarsely filtered sake is naturally sweet, soft and floral. You may unfold different layers of tastes including hints of white grape and elements of cherry blossom if drinking slowly. It is served chilled. And it's included in our sake sample set as well.

21.01.2022 Dear you, we need your opinion We are developing take away specials for our lovely neighbourhood. It will be offered at a more budget friendly price and be ready in a few minutes. Which sounds like a better idea, a fusion box (sushi, selection of chicken nuggets or vegetable tempura, vegetable salad and fried chips), a traditional box (different sushi rolls and some nigiris), or something else? Is there any other way that we can meet your daily takeaway expectations? Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts

20.01.2022 We are expected to have an all women kitchen team including chef, second cook and sushi artisan on July 10th and one day a week in the following weeks. This is NOT confirmed yet. But we are nearly there. Female chef has been excluded from Japanese restaurants for a very, very long time. Hopefully we can make a change

12.01.2022 House wine available by glass now We are very proud to say that we are making our restaurant a small but lovely hub for wines from all six major wine producers in Huon Valley, as a part of our supports for local businesses. There are Kate Hill Wines, Home Hill Winery, Elsewhere Vineyard, Altaness, Sailor Seeks Horse and Chatto Wines. In addition to that, we have started serving Storm Bay Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc as budget friendly house wines by the glass.
