25.01.2022 Another fantastic act added to our entertainment stage. Introducing Neil Cross. Neil is a Grade 8 pianist and songwriter from the UK living locally in Altona Meadows, and provides lessons to all age groups, from pre-school to adult. He has taught for over 10 years and is experienced in making lessons fun with lots of positive energy, and in turn, getting the best from everyone.

16.01.2022 *** SUPER SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*** After much disappointment having to cancel our fete back in March (but very necessary), we have decided given the uncertainty of 2020 to reschedule our fete to: Saturday 27th March 2021. ... Whilst the world is having it tough right now, we thought this would be something for the school and our wider community to look forward to. Anyone who entered our photography competition will be contacted in the next few weeks for details so we can offer you a refund (we will be running the competition again at the fete) and anyone in our school community who purchased wristbands will be given full refunds in the coming weeks. Stallholders - your refunds will be processed also. Please bear with us as you can imagine school is a bit different this term and there are lots of fete refunds to process. We thank you all for your support and we cant wait to start shaping our 2021 fete. In the meantime, stay home, stay safe.

15.01.2022 ***Important information*** Our fete will be a token only event. We will be accepting cash at our main ticket desks only (front entrance has EFTPOS and cash). Money can be exchanged for wristbands for rides, tokens for individual rides and for tickets for everything else. Our market stalls (in our gym) will be accepting cash as these are seperate to the school. ... So make sure you empty those money boxes and bring along your notes and loose change!

14.01.2022 So let us introduce to you another one of our judges in our Photo Competition, George Dale. I have been a photographer for over eight years, four years of which at a professional level and a filmmaker for five. Outdoor adventure, portraiture, travel, food, real estate, event and sport are just a few of the genres of photography that I enjoy, sustaining a wide range of subjects. Whether it be technical tips and tricks, a Q&A about the industry, a shoot, or even just a chat ...about careers in the imaging world, the winners of the Altona Green Primary School Fete Photography Competition will have three hours, as a group, with me. The winners can discuss between them, with my assistance, what they would like to do with this time. I want to ensure that this time provides as much value as possible to the winners. I would like to wish all entrants the very best of luck with the competition. I look forward to seeing everyones incredible images and meeting all of you budding photographers on the day of the fete! Remember entries must reach us by Wednesday 4th March.

These guys build some pretty impressive LEGO and for a gold coin (well ticket) donation, you can enter the exhibition and admire the impressive display. ... Scones lovingly made by our teacher of the program , Felicity and volunteer Linda (who just so happens to make the scones for the Altona Homestead)!
