21.01.2022 The day we get to hand over a completed renovation would have to be one of the most rewarding parts of our job This is a recent kitchen renovation we handed over yesterday. We were lucky enough to be entrusted with the responsibility of designing and building a beautiful family forever kitchen. We also like to leave some little goodies to our clients as a thankyou. 19.01.2022 Transformation Thursday Completing this kitchen renovation we also included a scullery. A place where you can prepare meals and wash up without showing this to those in view of the kitchen. A scullery can also be used as a storage space such as a walk-in pantry together with the fridge and other appliances. In this case we have combined the laundry and scullery together. ... : Make your scullery as stylish as the rest of your home by choosing a similar colour scheme for your appliances, table wear and paint choices. 16.01.2022 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY We said this was one of our faves and now you can see our execution! Check our the photos to see the build, 3D design and before photo. ... This kitchen is grand, those high ceilings are to die for! We think the black and white contrast nicely with the timber shelving adding warmth to that contrast. The lovely clients are busy into renovating their house and we are so grateful for having the opportunity to transform this kitchen. Open plan living was an important factor. It brings everyone together, we have created an atmosphere to entertain, so when your in the kitchen, you’ll never feel like missing out. Especially looking out to the clients beautiful outdoor area and pool! The place to be over summer! But for this bad boy here, I would definitely call this laundry heaven, a drying cupboard, every mums dream. Less Ironing... 02.01.2022 Wash, Dry, Fold - Repeat! A well designed laundry will make that wash dry fold repeat process that we all love so much easier. Here are some of our essential top tips: One of our favourite locations for the laundry room is an extension of the kitchen. This is definitely a money saving move, if you coordinate the cabinetry, tiling and other finishes with each other.... Think: extra storage extra sink more benchtop space more room to entertain in the kitchen It’s a no brainer. Storage that is smart is so vital in the laundry, from ceiling to floor, yep you’ll thank us later! Mounting cabinets high up on the wall is a great place to keep nasty cleaning products away from little explorers. Slim tall Cupboards are a must. They’re perfect for hiding away brooms, mops and ironing boards. A top tip is to include a powerpoint inside so you can charge your cordless vacuum out of sight Organise your design layout before you buy appliances. Allocate space for your dryer next to or stacked on your washing machine so that the washing can be easily transferred between the two appliances. Mount a benchtop above your washing machine and or dryer to allow for plenty of room for the folding. Including a door out to your external washing line allows for better flow when carrying the washing. Not only does a door help with flow, it helps create much needed ventilation and natural light, keeping the space fresh as a daisy.
