25.01.2022 Renew, reconnect and rejoice. Happy Easter to all. Stay safe and happy and enjoy this time with your family and loved ones. -AM Dental Clinics

23.01.2022 My name is Roxanna. I work at AM Dental as both a receptionist and dental assistant. I am currently Studying at RMIT university undergoing a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising as well as working here at AM Dental. It’s pretty obvious that these two fields are polar opposite however working at AM Dental I have realised my love and interest for dentistry and everything involving it. I feel so honoured to be apart of such an amazing, kind and loud team that everyday aims to tra...nsform their patients lives by helping improve their health and creating a smile that makes patients feel confident and beautiful! My goal as a dental assistant is to be the most nurturing presence in the room for both patient and dentist. I want the dentist to always feel that they have a helping hand that will assist them with their treatments as well as a support system throughout any procedure. I believe compassion and kindness are two very important traits to have in the surgery room with patients. It helps me connect with patients, build trusting relationships with them in efforts to create the best dental experience possible. If there is one thing I have learned at AM Dental is that no two days are alike. I am always kept on my toes, always learning new things and always undergoing different treatment. And I love it. I’m so excited to see our patients on the other side of this. However for now, stay safe and keep smiling and we’ll see you all back at AM Dental soon! Roxanna Xx

23.01.2022 It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack. We are grateful for our amazing families and beautiful patients. We are open and continuing to look after the wonderful families in our community. We are following government regulations and protocols and following updates to ensure we can protect our patients and our Team whilst providing this vital essential service. Our treatments are limited to pain management and emergency / urgent appointments. If unsure whether your problem fits into this category, please call us and we can discuss this with you. We are here to help during this difficult time.

22.01.2022 Hi everybody, My name is Maricar. I’ve been working with the AM Dental family for 3 years. You’ll see me either assisting or out in the reception. Prior to joining AM Dental, I had completed my certificate III in dental assisting. Although I had no experience in the field, the AM Dental family took me in with open arms, teaching me every step of the way. With amazing people in the crew, I knew that I would enjoy and love working here and because of them, I am now doing my ce...rtificate IV in dental assisting and radiography. During these 3 years, I have seen people come out of procedures like a new person, with their amazing boost of confidence. Seeing that makes me confident that what I am doing is helping all these people. Seeing people come into AM Dental all nervous and coming out with wide smiles is something that I will always love seeing. So far, my favourite procedure would have to be cosmetic as there is just something about seeing that transformation in people’s teeth and seeing how much they love it just makes me feel so happy. What I have learnt during these 3 years is that it is ok to make mistakes as these mistakes will make you grow into a better dental assistant. Thanks to this amazing team, I have been able to do many things that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do. With the constant encouragement from them, I have learnt how to not give up and to always try my best. Although we are currently in tough times, remember to stay happy and healthy. Create new hobbies and don’t forget to call your loved ones and friends. Once this is all over, me and the AM Dental crew will all be here welcoming you. Stay safe and I can’t wait to see all you guys again. Maricar.

21.01.2022 ‘My name is Savyo aka Tony, I’ve been working as a Dental Assistant with AM Dental since November 2018 and gradually started doing Receptionist work. I’ve grown to love every aspect of dentistry as a whole. It has been a wonderful experience to be working with AM Dental both professionally and personally. My mentors have been a tremendous help for me and I’ve seen this role as a great opportunity to advance in my professional life. I’ve graduated general dentistry in Ukraine... and moved to Australia, I am now in the process of completing my accreditation exams and will hopefully become a dentist in Australia very soon. AM Dental has been a second family for me and I’m fully committed to advancing it as it has been advancing me. The staff here are some of the most wonderful people I’ve known and they will always help you with whatever you feel is required. I’m excited to be seeing all the clients soon here at the clinic once we ride out this storm, in the meantime, stay safe and have great day. - Tony’

15.01.2022 My name is Reem. A year ago I joined the family at AM dental as a Dentist. It's fulfilling to be part of a wonderful team of people who through compassion and care have fostered a 'dental home' for our patients. I love serving our community and I love my job to the core! I've always been passionate about healthcare and I've always known that I wanted to do something that interlaces intricate hands-on work and allows me to build close relationships with people.... My fascination in the field grew from my own dental experience growing up and inevitably led me to find my niche in dentistry. Everyday is different, I get to see a plethora of patients with different treatment needs and that's exciting! There is always a sense of gratification to help someone out of pain, to help patients overcome anxiety, improve oral habits and provide treatment that restores confidence and puts smiles on faces. My goal is to change the scary dentist myth! It's rewarding to be able to build relationships with patients and create a positive change whether it be through the treatment provided, the patient experience or the patient journey. At AM Dental we're here to support you! So let's work together to keep our community safe. We hope you stay safe in order to positively impact the lives of many! Reem x

15.01.2022 ‘My name is Jenny. I have had the privilege of being a Dentist at AM Dental for just over a year now! My journey started at the University of Melbourne with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedicine (Honours), followed by Doctor of Dental Surgery. During my studies I was a Dental Nurse/Receptionist and the Dental Representative for Victorian Outlook Health committee. ... There are many areas of Dentistry that I enjoy but for me, my favourite part is the time I get to spend with my patients. It is an honour to help someone. To see the difference we make and that smile at the review appointment is what makes the day. Clinically, I have a particular interest in pain management and cosmetics. Who I am at work is who I am at home. My values of compassion, kindness and respect is the same no matter where I am. The team at AM Dental have created such a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and this is why I’m always smiling in the clinic. I have learnt that when you surround yourself with the right people, dentistry isn’t as awful and painful as you last remembered it to be. During the tough times ahead, know that the family at AM Dental are here to help. This what we do and have always done. Be kind to one another and if you ever want to just come down for a laugh or chat, you know where to find us! Much love, Jenny xx’

13.01.2022 Hi, my name is Shilani and I joined the AM Dental family 5 years ago, when I moved down from sunny Queensland. I had been working as a dentist in the Gold Coast for a few years when I decided to move to Melbourne with my now husband. It was such a s scary thing to do but as soon as I joined this "family" I felt like it was all meant to be - somehow the scary thing became so easy because of the support i had from Andrew, Jennene and the wonderful group of people. What I love ...most about being a dentist is how I can make a difference in people's lives in the most unconventional way. Not only do I aspire to give you the best smile I can deliver, but I also love to make sure that you have so much to smile and laugh about as you walk out the door. Whether it be chats about your work, life, gym or food loves or the fun glove balloon animals I make for our little patients too. I love the community of patients who come through our doors, building relationships with them and getting to know your story and telling you mine - building true friendships, not just a practitioner-Patient relationship. I love our wonderful team that we've grown. These people are not just my colleagues and workmates they're my friends, cheersquad and family. Im passionate about training, supporting and cheering them on as the excel in their careers, dreams and their lives, just as they do for me. AM Dental has been through thick and thin before and during my time, and we always come out the other end better than before. We'll see you on the other side of covid 19 with a spring in our step and exciting things to share. Till then stay safe, stay home, stay healthy and keep smiling Shilani xx

13.01.2022 Thank you to all of those who are continuing to support us in this tough and uncertain time. We are trying our best to look after all of you and continue on as best we can. This includes extra precautions and care for each of your cases and situations. Thank you for being such lights in our journey through to the other side. ... - AM Dental Clinics

13.01.2022 Kindness // we are urging patients to please please remember we are all experiencing tough times. Be kind to others and ask if people are okay. Be patient. Healthcare workers are trying their best to attend to everything we can within the guidelines we are given. Before you feel yourself getting frustrated at others- ask how you can make the other persons day better rather than what they can do for you. How important is upset and anger today in a time of uncertainty? Sending all of you love, health and safety. Let’s get each other through this //

12.01.2022 My name is Cherrie. I have been apart of this nurturing family for almost 15 years. I never knew a lot about dentistry when I first joined but the knowledge I can say I have gained now is invaluable. I have always wanted to work with people I just love helping people, quickly I learned this was my new career and haven’t looked back. The time and knowledge Andrew and Jennene have invested in me to become a manager and and coach the wonderful group around me I will be forever g...rateful. I love our patients and their beautiful families I’ve seen their children grow and many become adults with families themselves. I get excited to catch up with patients when they return to hear about their adventures and how they and the family have been. I love having time with the team and patients in the surgeries learning new procedures and being their to see the patients transform especially with cosmetic procedures. Whilst I mainly focus on the administration side and reception I am proud to say I have completed my cert 3 dental assisting and now studying for cert 4- dental assisting and radiography. I am looking forward to the other side of Covid 19 and seeing everyone in the surgeries too. The one final love I have is for this group I am honoured to say we are family. The love respect and loyalty is a huge part of my life. - Cherrie x

11.01.2022 My name is Ashlee and I’ve been working with your families and loved ones for the last 11 years. I manage the social media pages and also do our HR and Clinical Management on-site at the practices. I have dedicated my journey to changing your smiles and holding your hands through stressful times. My journey started working and thinking my heart was going to end up elsewhere but I became addicted to the journeys of those in the west. Once I started and invested myself in your ...stories and our amazing industry- I never left. I loved your smile transformations, pain management appointments, helping your grandparents through their fears and being the intermediate in between the clinicians and yourselves to help explain your complex treatment plans and cosmetic ideals. I love cosmetics so this was something we got on with as a community from the start. I have watched so many people’s lives change from simple and natural smile designs. I love teaching your kids how to breathe, so they can be healthy and happy adults. Im even happy negotiating with third parties to make sure you’re getting the best deal out of your health insurances and understand things you can be confused about. I love being a positive in your kids journeys and being a shoulder to cry on through your tough personal situations. I am grateful to be in my job and position and train, support and love all our beautiful staff. I’ll be here for you all at the end. I can’t wait to see you all on the other side. Let us know what you’re excited about doing on the other side. I genuinely wish you all safety and support to the other side. There’s people behind the practice and we are thinking of all of you through this tough time. Much love, A See more

11.01.2022 ‘Hi, my name is Megan. I’ve been working with AM dental for nearly four years now. When I first joined AM dental I didn’t know much about dentistry or where this new journey would take me. I’ve gained so much knowledge from Dr Andrew, Ashlee and the other wonderful dentists and management who have helped create this beautiful journey and helped mould me into the person I am today. They inspired me to move forward and complete my certificate III and now my certificate IV in de...ntal assisting and radiography. During my time at AM Dental I have had the pleasure of meeting and engaging with long term clients as well as new clients. I have created relationships with them and have enjoyed getting to know about their lives while they get to know about ours. To me, I find all parts of dentistry interesting. I love learning new procedures no matter how big, small or complex. So far, I think cosmetic treatment is my favourite. At AM Dental I’ve learned no dream is too big and I want to help every patient that comes through our doors with expectations of how they want their teeth to look. We will always give them our 100% to help achieve their desired outcome. I think so far at AM dental the biggest thing I have taken away from my journey is that this isn’t just a dental clinic, It’s a family. We go through tough times and happy times together, but in the end we always come through and give it our best. We want our patients to feel loved and appreciated the way we do for one another. For now: stay home, check in on one another and we will see you on the other side. - Meg x’ See more

10.01.2022 Things we are grateful for: supermarket shelves becoming easier to find basic groceries, instant coffee, online CPD, family, great books and the hard work the majority(hopefully we keep doing better and better) of Australians protecting each other. We have missed being together as a team and not doing a lot of the work we love doing. We find our work so social, but are getting ready to be bigger and better than ever. We cannot wait to see you all on the other side. Until then, we will be here to make sure you’re not in pain- as best we can according to current ADA directives. Much love and safety to all, AM Dental Family //

07.01.2022 We are still open, and caring for the community. We ask that you call us if you have an emergency appointment that’s needed and limit non urgent appointments. We are taking all possible precautions and have had meetings to make sure that you and your family are as protected as we can. Wash your hands, don’t touch your eyes or mouth and limit touching others’ belongings. Together we want to flatten the curve and limit the risks and long term effects as much as possible. Let’s do this together //

07.01.2022 On this day we appreciate the sacrifices of those who have, are and will give us the strength to carry on. Good Friday marks the time to stop, focus, think and then push forward in the weeks and months to come harder than ever. Take the time to appreciate and respect those who have sacrificed things for the position you’re in. We are in a country where most of us have access to shelter, water and food. Give to those who don’t and share graciously and humbly. Stay safe, stay at home. Much love - AM Dental //

07.01.2022 My name is Sarah. I joined the family here at AM Dental about 3 months ago and it’s been such a fun, challenging, rewarding ride since my very first day. Before I started work here I knew very little about dentistry but had quite the drive to learn, and I was so unsure of where I wanted life to take me. I’m incredibly humbled and grateful that Andrew, Ash and their team decided to take me on and give me this wonderful opportunity because it’s done nothing but show me how pas...sionate I am towards working in the healthcare industry and making our patients walk out of our clinic feeling happy. You’ll see me both in nursing and out the front doing reception as I’ve been trained up for both, and I’m not hard to miss as my hair is a bright electric blue! There’s too many things I’ve learnt that I love about working in this industry but most of all, it’s so gratifying to be able to have our patients walk out with smiles on their face especially when they’re the kind of people that come in trembling with fear and anxiety. I love being able to show them that we will listen, we will care and we’ll do our utmost best to fix any problem and minimise any pain they may be experiencing. The last thing we want patients to think is that dentists are scary! I’ve grown to really love our community and the team that we have here, I love hearing about their day and being updated on everything that’s going on in their day to day life and forming that relationship with everyone. The team is here to support you. I hope everyone is staying safe during this period and we can’t wait to see all of you for your check ups and cleans when this is all over! - Sarah x

03.01.2022 At AM Dental we aim to have a family centred team environment. We share all tasks as much as possible. The team is trained and qualified in a surprising breadth of dental disciplines. We feel understanding as much as possible for all jobs gives us good job satisfaction and scope for our days. We perform different tasks and have different roles, but respect and love each other as equals. You may think all of us are best friends when you walk through the door- we actually are. All the relationships you see are genuine, caring and special. We’ve chosen our own little eclectic and quirky family //
