22.01.2022 BRIGHTON RD Last week I added my signature to the petition to be tabled at Parliament seeking that traffic lights be installed on Brighton Rd and Edward St. This intersection is constantly being brought up as a major issue in Brighton. Over 3,500 people have put their names to the petition and I hope that this pressure will see safety improvements very quickly.

21.01.2022 GLENELG The most important quarter of the year- Glenelg up by 2 goals in the final quarter. Need a win to make the finals!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to the former Mayor of @holdfastbay @stephenpattersonmp who was sworn into the @steven_marshallmp ministry by Governor Le. Stephen is an analytical, software engineer who owns his own software company, has, with his wife Tammy, raised 4 kids and is an expert in all things computers and science. He was Mayor for 3 years, volunteers at @glenelgslsc as a patrol guard and will be a fantastic Minister for trade and investment. Great appointment! Also congratulations to @corey_wingard_mp on his elevation to Minister for Transport and Infrastructure. Huge brief. Youll smash it

21.01.2022 Had an amazing morning with William Miller - Holdfast Bay Councillor for Somerton Ward at the North Brighton Community Garden open day. Thanks to Beau and Alex and the team for such a great morning.

18.01.2022 BRIGHTON Recently caught up with @steven_marshallmp to have a brief chat about our event season. The Holdfast team are currently reimagining how we can have Covid safe activations to bring some sense of fun for Summer and school holidays. We think its important for our community to have some scaled back events to come together. Stay tuned.

18.01.2022 SWARA Over the past years @holdfastbay @cityofmarion and @cityofonkaparinga have been working in collaboration to redevelop our waste facility to a national leading resource recovery location. Our jointly owned site down South operates 2 renewable power plants ( methane and solar) and is expanding to provide power to 2,400 homes. We are now looking to expand even bigger to build a plant that can sort plastics to a higher grade, concrete and glass to provide road base fo...r Councils, establishing a circular economy industry zone which will collaborate with local innovators and businesses to produce products from the recovered plastic, glass and paper and more. It is one of the most exciting projects in the state. We are delighted that @trevorevansmp and Nicolle Flint visited the site to see our vision first hand. We look forward to this helping to pivot our state economy to a circular one and benefitting our environment in the most profound ways. This is the future. @stephenpattersonmp @davidspeirsmp @corey_wingard_mp @scottmorrisonmp See more

13.01.2022 Vale JENNY TUCK Jenny was a burst of colour and energy that illuminated everyone and everything she touched. She strove with energy and passion to improve her community. Jenny ran Splashout Art Studios with her devoted partner Krystyna and brought flair and colour to Jetty Rd, Brighton. She started and ran the Jetty Road, Brighton social media, worked as an influencer with the 5049 Coastal Community Group, started the 2019 kids art sculptures on Jetty Rd. She was a generous benefactor for art and charities. Her memory will live on for us in the sunset over Brighton Jetty and in the beauty of art and nature. Her loss will leave a huge hole in the Brighton and 5049 Community and her positivity, fun and joy will be greatly missed by me. Much love to Krystyna, Jennys family and friends. @ Cafe Lune
