13.01.2022 It's been a while, but we have not forgotten you! Airports are longing for the constant pitter-patter of feet and the hum of chit-chat, just as much as we have been hanging out to create it!

12.01.2022 Travel Update - August 2020 I hope everyone has been keeping well over this past month. I thought it was time for an update on Bookings, Travel Enquiry Trends and a little bit about what's been happening in my world at the end. I'm pleased today to share with you that I've processed over 80% of clients refunds so the majority of clients files are finalised with refunds or credits, and this only leaves a small portion outstanding. If you are one of the remaining 20% I thank ...you for your patience and I am still constantly following up. It has been a massive feat, to say the least. The system was not designed to work in reverse in such volume let alone our supplier's staff restructuring to cope with the pandemic and I'm sure you can all agree with me that no one saw this coming for 2020! On a positive note, there has been a small amount of interest in domestic travel. Clients travelling within their own state for short breaks and couple getaways. There has also been a little bit of confidence to book QLD travel for the September school holidays. Although we have no guarantees, I'm really hoping that things stay as they are so that my clients can escape to North QLD for a wonderful and well deserved holiday.... What's been happening with my world?? Well.... My hubby & kids are all well, My house is clean, the dog gets a lovely walk every day and I'm enjoying the downtime. I've reduced my work hours behind the computer, however, I'm not going anywhere and I'm always available on the phone if you need me. I wanted to share with you a recent picture of our furbaby - Frankie He's growing fast and is now 6 months old ! We recently ventured up to Bribie Island for a day trip and Frankie had his first swim at the beach... He absolutely loved it, and although I got a little wet too, we all had a great day! Please keep in touch, and always keep dreaming of a day when the planes will be flying internationally again, the ships sailing the high seas and we can get back to exploring this wonderful world we live in. Take Care, Amanda #amanda_travelmanagers #covid19 #weareallinthistogether2020 #keepdreaming #love2travel #wewilltravelagainsoon #firsttriptothebeach #bribieisland

World Tourism Day was founded to raise awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value. (www.un.org)... Unfortunately, this year, every country has felt the effects of COVID and the restrictions which have been enforced. We can still celebrate, but lets celebrate by visiting the amazing sites we have in our own country.

10.01.2022 Today is International Podcast Day. I have recently started listening to The Travel Diaries podcast. There are some amazing and quite quirky destinations famous people have visited! It's fun listening to their experiences. Sir Richard Branson’s interview was one of my fav’s! Have you listened to this podcast? Are there any other travel podcasts you would recommend?
