25.01.2022 A few weekends ago I spent an afternoon with Shadae & Stacey to document a very special time, they had just got married! They asked me to come out to the stunning Adelaide Hills cottage they were staying at the next day to take some photos. They donned their stunning wedding dresses once more and as we wandered the property I saw the magic unfold. 21.01.2022 Can I be honest? I have never actually been to Mount Crawford forest before! What?! Yep, I know! It is almost like a landmark spot in Adelaide so when Kate emailed me about having her family photo shoot there I was like ummm YES! I was so excited, as was Kate. 21.01.2022 Tomorrow I will be officially releasing the Spring/Summer Outfit Guide to my beautiful couples & families, yay! From the moment this idea popped into my head I have had a fire in my belly to just do it! This guide has been weeks in the making and this morning I actually thought about how much has gone into it From liaising with businesses, to selecting outfits, setting up the photo shoot, photographing the items over three days, editing and collating all of the images and t...hen creating an entire outfit guide template from scratch! Phew! This is absolutely a labour of love but I am so happy with how it has come together and grateful for the two below stores who offered to be apart of it. Rosalyn + Rae and Primp Style Co. Thank you! My hope is that it will be a helpful resource for my clients and will help answer the age old question "what do we wear?" xx

19.01.2022 Well, what a roller coaster these last few days have been! Thanking our lucky stars to be back to a bit of ‘normality’ here is Adelaide. I know this lockdown has been incredibly hard on so many people, small businesses in particular, so here’s hoping you get some sort of routine back and that now more than ever people remember to support local and shop small Looking forward to getting back in to our own routine too (and not having to entertain the kids 24/7 ).

18.01.2022 Happy one year anniversary to these beautiful souls, Kat & Ben! I honestly cannot believe this was a whole year ago- seriously! I photographed this wedding when Chloe was only 9 weeks old, Kat was on crutches and the sun shone so beautifully for a winters day. Everything about their day was amazing and Kat was SUCH a trooper despite being in a lot of pain. 14.01.2022 I am so excited to be holding next months Spring Mini Sessions at the BEAUTIFUL Littlewood Agapanthus Farm, here in the Adelaide Hills So it's a funny story.. my hubby Ben was riding his bike one day and came home to tell me about a place he thought would be nice for photos. He described what he saw from the front gate and I was intrigued. The next morning I drove past the property and saw exactly what he saw.. rolling hills, beautiful gardens and big beautiful trees. I, of... course, did what any photographer would do and drove past again during golden hour and immediately got in contact! Last weekend I meet with Jenna and Tracey at Littlewood where we headed out on a buggy ride around the property. Jenna excitedly told me all about the best photo spots, where to go when and what angles would work well (thank you lovely ) whilst I also heard about the wonderful history of the place. Not only do they have hundreds of thousands of Agapanthus plants (among others) but they have turned their property into a stunning event space too! The giggles when you tickle them, the way they lay their heads on your shoulder when they’re tired, the wonder and excitement over beautiful flowers or planes in the sky.. embrace it, cherish those moments. Watching these four together truly made me stop and think, this time is so fleeting. Stop and pick a flower with your little one, talk about the plane and watch it fly over head together, dance to a song from Sesame Street.. just because. Do it for no one else than your sweet child in front of you Gemma, Nick, Olivia & Hugo, thank you for such a beautiful night. It was a dream

07.01.2022 So I originally thought I’d be writing this post yesterday but I blinked and it was 9pm Yesterday was the first day that Chloe was in childcare on a Monday (she will now be going twice a week) and Amelia is in school. So of course I had grand plans of writing a big to do list, updating a few galleries on my website, editing and blogging, updating my accounting software and just generally getting shit done.. well, I didn’t do any of it! Sure I replied to a few emails and tid...ied up my office but I also looked at photos & videos of my girls for hours, scrolled Instagram and did some online shopping. It got to 2:45pm and I thought, I have achieved nothing! This would normally make me think I have wasted the day and that it was not good enough but I decided to flip that on its head. Instead I decided that I was going to give myself this day. It was the first day in a long time where the house was quiet, I had time to think, relax (dare I say it!) and just be. Motherhood is the best hood out there, don’t get me wrong, but it’s constant & darn exhausting too! I’m glad I allowed myself to just have a day and not feel guilty about it! Why am I sharing this? I want to remind you that you too are ‘allowed’ these days and god knows you deserve it

07.01.2022 Happy Monday to you! I hope you've had a lovely weekend and are feeling fresh to stat the week. Miss Chloe has been waking up at 4am lately so we have been having some super early starts. I have no idea what is happening but every morning it's the same! I managed to get her to snooze on and off until 6:30am but boy oh boy it's getting tiring! Anyway, I'm dreaming of sun shiny afternoons in the forest like this one a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to have Kate & Ryan's family session up on the blog soon x
