24.01.2022 A cheeky interruption

23.01.2022 The great thing about yoga is that you don't need expensive equipment and it can be done anywhere - a studio, a home, a workplace, outdoors. This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago at Glebe Park as part of the @canberra12weeks challenge. We used mats or towels and enjoyed a beautiful session of yoga under the trees. So simple and enjoyable!

18.01.2022 Oh, the glamorous Friday night life of a yoga teacher - complete with a cup of tea and PJs. Typically for every hour of teaching yoga, there is an hour of planning and support that goes into it. Looking forward to a Yin / Yang class on Sunday to celebrate Spring. #yogateacherlife #fridaynighthangs

17.01.2022 So, I admit I haven't been to Glebe Park in over 15 years but it was an amazing place to hold two yoga sessions today. I met some lovely people & had a ball as part of the 12 week fitness challenge. Thank you to everyone who came along & thank you to @active_in_the_capital for pulling together an awesome program - I don't know many people who could have done it in such a short amount of time

12.01.2022 Do you know a Canberra office who could benefit from a session of chair yoga? I have just completed my chair yoga qualification and am now doing my post course teaching component. As an office worker myself, I know it can be hard to allocate time during the day for your physical and mental wellbeing, but it’s especially important in a busy office environment. I am looking to team up with a local Canberra office to provide 2 x chair yoga sessions (45mins to an hour) in the ne...xt few weeks. There is no cost and absolutely zero obligations. All that is required is some space, some chairs, and some willing participants! If you know of a workplace that would be interested, feel free to DM me or send an email to [email protected] Chair yoga is a vinyasa flow class adapted to be a seated sequence, with all the benefits and challenges of mat yoga. There are many advantages of chair yoga classes in the workplace, not only do you not need a big space, chair yoga can be done in your work wear resulting in a more practical and efficient outcome - there's no need for changing, showering and changing back again. It also provides a much needed mental break, and helps you reset and focus for the rest of the day. It’s perfect for the lunch hour. Don’t be fooled- when I went to my first chair yoga session I was surprised by the workout, and I definitely felt it the next day! Chair yoga makes yoga so much more accessible, and it's not just for corporate environments. It's a great option for people wanting to try yoga for the first time, for those with injuries or reduced mobility, or for anyone wanting to try yoga a different way! #canberra #canberrayoga #yogacanberra #canberrabusiness #yoga #chairyoga #yogateacher #canberralife #workplace #yogi #cbr

11.01.2022 No bikini yoga poses on the beach this time In fact, this long weekend has been so packed full of family time, I haven't even unpacked my yoga mat from the car . Whilst it's important to me to make time for yoga, sometimes other things I consider important take priority. like slowing down and enjoying this life!
