24.01.2022 In this 2nd episode of the MHPN Podcast series, 'Ageing Well', the hosts discuss the principles that underpin active, resourceful, and compassionate health care practice across the lifespan. 23.01.2022 Good bye Gambeth - 46 Peter St in Wagga. A new beginning for Amaranth Foundation in Wagga. A new direction and a return to our core business. ... I started Amaranth in 2009 to work with people experiencing grief, loss, trauma and people living the impact of advanced, chronic, complex or physical and mental illnesses. Our passion is social work - and our expertise is complexity. So now - that is where our work in Wagga will be focussed. A new and very exciting beginning.

19.01.2022 Talking to children about Covid-19 is essential as our children are also concerned and worried about school, friends, family and themselves. Here is a great on line site from UNICEF with some fantastic links and articles that may be useful. Please contact us on 0260 331738 or email [email protected] if you want to talk to any of our clinicians or social workers. ... https://www.unicef.org//how-talk-your-child-about-coronavi

19.01.2022 Next Friday at 5:30 pm the WALKING STRONG MEN'S GROUP will be reforming after an enforced COVID holiday. And it is a new beginning for this group. We now have... the old Corowa Railway Station as our venue and during the break the brilliant people at Amaranth have attracted some funding for the group as well. I am excited to have the opportunity to be involved. This group is open to all men, of all ages. Come as often or as little as you like. If you are a past member who has stopped coming, please drop in again. Bring your dog, bring your guitar - let's see where this goes. The railway station is potentially a brilliant venue with a large verandah adjacent to the walking track offering us lots of opportunities for walks, a fire-pit, sitting in the sun, bbq's, whatever. This Friday we can start organising the facility and discussing our future (it needs a little work) We have big plans but we need a variety of people involved. So, if you would benefit from a connecting men's support group, or you can help a men's support group, or you know anyone who would benefit or help, please stick your head in any Friday from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the old railway station. Or give me a call on 0428 683 597
