17.01.2022 The Gurdwara Sahib Gold Coast (Gold Coast Sikh Association Inc) was cordially invited by the QLD Minister of Racing ,Tourism and Multicultural Affairs, Hon Stirling Hinchliffe to participate in Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Prakash Ustav at the QLD Parliament House to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Such a privilege to be part of history in the making for the Sikh Community of Queensland. The GCSA community would like to thank the QLD Government for hosting this special event.

16.01.2022 Celebrating at Gurdwara Sahib Gold Coast, Diwali which coincides with the Sikh celebration of Bandi Chhor Divas, a religious day that commemorates the release of Sikh Guru Hargobind Ji from the Gwalior Fort in India in the 17th century. This year however, with the advent of Covid-19, families, friends and neighbours came together, celebrated differently to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It was still a joyous day with fun, laughter and exchanging greetings for good health and best wishes.
